Turn 16. Mar/Apr 1942. Allied #2. Impulse Planning.
USA – Naval
Pacific:
1. In the Marianas RTB US CP, break IJN supply to the Marshall Islands (Kwajalein) and Eniwetok and sink/damage IJN CA/Sub Gp.
2. Establish supply into the Marshalls & position US 4th inf & 10th Mtn div for potential amphibious invasion of Kwajalein & Eniwetok.
3. In Bismarck Sea reestablish supply, PHI RP shipment, proper CP escorts and, if possible, patrols.
4. Review Pacific CP lines to ensure, as reasonable & possible, US & CW resource shipment, primary & secondary supply lines (i.e., CP chains) to the Philippines, Australia, Malaya and areas cited above.
5. Move, rebase, position US land, air & naval forces not involved in current operations for common sense redeployment to forward bases (e.g., Rabul, New Ireland, Solomons, Guam).
Atlantic/Western/Med:
6. US land forces, under escort with RN/Fr to avoid Ge/It surprise, to North Africa.
7. Assist CW in fixing CW CP lines to include as appropriate USN escorts & patrols paired with RN/Fr to avoid Ge/It surprise.
8. Rebase US bomber and fighter wings to UK bases.
9. Move/rebase/position “unused” USN Atlantic fleet CVs, CAs, BBs for basing in the Med, East Africa and CBI.
