Hi all,
We had 40+ cm (15+ inches or 1+ feet) of snow overnight and it is still snowing! [X(]
Coupled with strong north-easterly wind we have true blizzard...
Although we are accustomed to snow here the traffic in the city collapsed totally... no trams... no buses... just handful of brave drivers trying to be on the city streets...

Saturday morning tithe.
Well I just ended my first AI game in years. In Scenario 2, as allies, I went to July 42 before the AI had run out of pilots. I managed to hold Java. I had crushed four divisions and bottled up for destruction several tank regiments and boat loads of arty. PM held traditional line reestablished. I had all my carriers in the IO ready to support landings in Burma. I would have kept going to carry out the Burma operation but a quick Head to Head check showed 5 Jap divisions and less than 10k supplies in all of Burma. I would rather start over a new challenge than just grind the AI to bits.

Sorry Leo. But thats one of the primary reasons we left NY. Snow is very beautiful for the first 5 minutes you see it, but then you have to live in it. We decided to spend a few years someplace where it doesnt become generally unbearable to go outside for half the year. [:D]

Yeah. So long as the wildfires, heat and smog don't bother you. Also, be sure to remember your flak jacket if you want outside to be bearable, vato. [:'(]

I'm finally wrapping up my Fallout 3 game. Its taken me about 3 years and something like 6 restarts. Back before I got the Mac, every time I would get somewhere mid-badass level, either my system would crash or Windows would need to be reinstalled. So in that sense, I've played the beginning of Fallout 3 like most people play winter '41/Spring '42 on WitP. After all this time, however, I have basically done everything there is to do in that game, including all the DLCs. I'd say that gaming-wise, its the best money I've ever spent outside of the WitP franchise.
I'll "gift" myself New Vegas for New Years. [:D]
