that battle where you were the attacker and the federals were dug in, can you tell me how they took double your losses?

It seams casulties in this game could be WAY off

Part of it is they broke, and I was able to maul them when they broke

also, on the northern flank, they came out of the line to attack, to take some pressure off the middle

plus I was able to break his 3 Heavy Guns, before they did more damage (they did take out a couple of my Bdes)

also, you may see, in the south I was able to do almost nothing, so I didn't force it, I couldn't break the line there, so didn't try to, but by staying in place, so did the Union

a number of the units in the middle, I shot to death, and then was able to close in, and trap other units in place, where they would have to either surrender, or die in place
2/3s of the losses came from the middle

and in the middle, I had 4 Heavy Guns, 3 snipers and most of my shock troops

which if I could fight that battle over, I would of shifted more of my middle and northern forces to the south

and if that was the case, maybe I shouldn't post the next screen then

the battle is over, the Union broke, I was not able to punish them much in the north, a little in the middle, but the south, they had a lot of bad ground to cover and took some heavy losses on the retreat

Yea hard i think that casultiy system needs to be worked on, only when troops surrender en mass (ie armies getting captured) are losses that onesided even with attrition or desertion.

Fredricksburg was one of the rare battles where casulties was a 2-1.

But the hassle is, this is not the CW, nor is this Fredericksburg (well, it is, but you know what I mean:)
