Thanks for the reply rjh! I got it downloaded then put it in the DAT folder and opened up the game.
No Deluxe scenarios. I've got all the rest stock ones but Jesse's ones don't show up.
I've opened the DAT file and everything's in place - deluxe and stock.
Have I installed it properly?

It doesn't look like you have done it right. If I recall correctly the mod didn't come with an installer. The process is the following: make a copy paste of your vanilla awd game, rename the folder to AWD Deluxe, then unzip and replace the contents and launch the game.
Early morning here I can check the whole process this evening in the pc and get back to you if you still have problems.
Once you have it properly set up there are three scenarios to be played iirc.

Leb, thanks for the fantastic updates, been playing for years. I've got the 1.047 beta 3 download, did you post v1.05?

Hmm I just came to check if there were updates here as I undusted this game ... but I see my own post of years ago above here, so I take it things have not changed and one best play baseline eventually than Allied-Bonanza mod.

So I made a copy of vanilla (updated) called it AWD (including the exe) and replaced the dat and manual files, and crashes. Any advice on how to make work?

Latest update was 1.047 iirc, Jesse never made any further updates. But the mod is fully playable.

Hello everyone. I got an update I'm working on. Fixed a few bugs from 1.047 and made some balance updates.

I'm looking forward to it, if you're still working on it. Rafael and I are playing a GG right now and I'd forgotten how much I love the game.

Yeah so much strategy packed into a short game. You can actually finish a PBEM game unlike other monster games.

Got the beta 1.05 uploaded. Major fix was dealing with the US entry that kind of broke 1.047. US would not unfreeze when it hit 40WR. So if you never attacked the US you could exploit that to keep them out of the war. This error got introduced because I changed the US map to 3 zones and had removed the zone that was the trigger the program used to enter the war. By removing land zone 317 the program had no call to make. Once I realized this was the cause it was an easy fix. To bad it took so many years to get around to fixing that but I had moved on and did not play test 1.047 enough to notice it. Would like to play more of this gem again, because there is nothing else like it out there that has this pace of play and depth of strategy. I grew up playing Axis and Allies by Milton Bradly and this is everything that old classic is and more. Hence, why it has no replacement for me.

Yes it will work with either. But you may as well use 1.05

Hmm works fine for me. And I have changed nothing about how the files of deluxe install for many versions now, so I don't see why this would be an issue this time. Sounds like a bad install. Did you copy the entire game over to a new folder then place my mod over it? At that point you should also rename it to Deluxe AWD to distinguish it from the original install.

Well just noticed a small mistake on my recent upload. I have not updated the start screen to include the new multiplayer arrow. At the time I started to work on Deluxe 1.05 this new screen was not created yet. Well for beta2 it will be fixed. For now game saves can just be sent by email like we used to do it.

Until I get some .scn files that are new to the save folder for the multiplayer beta sorted out if you want to play old school PBEM then you need to run a 1.040 copy of the game. You can have a copy of 1.040 and 1.050 at the same time no problem if you wish to participate in the multiplayer server beta test.

I'm having trouble finding the download link. Am I blind or has it been removed?
