Far says:
"Mud hits everywhere, even in Berlin where the road surfaces have vanished

Most of the Ost Heer is Yellow or Red. The convoluted Front will not be sustainable in the Blizzard by the Wetterdienst, so corrective action begins. A window is left open in OKH, blowing the markers around on the War Map, so the changes pass unnoticed. My choice of rail paths was not optimal either, and I would pay good money to have a Finnish FBD."
EDIT: T18 was a mud turn, the entire map was in mud. So neither of us did anything in the way of major movement, attacking, etc.

Let's start talking about your plans for blizzard. Where do you see the best opportunity to hurt Fanfarer?

Aren't we in 1942 here? Farfarer is not getting hit by bonus blizzard penalties.

I also still don't see the three Moscow rifle divisions in place. Put that insurance policy in place.

"The Weather gods hand me snow in North Soviet zone. Ironically too early to use for a thrust at Moscow across the north Volga. One Pz Corps had 30 MP, but most were 16, so no lightning thrusts. Recon showed Larry 2.0 had a devious second line north west of Moscow facing north west I presume, so no cake walks. I had visions of Mud next turn and an entire Panzer Armee isolated outside west Moscow of all places. I decide to take the gift and optimize front lines, move mobile formations to rail lines etc, and get FOOD and GAS

Lemme take a look around when it's my turn again and I'll get back to you.

D'oh. I thought I did that already. Good idea though.

Actually, it's still Oct of 1941. So I'm hoping that he in fact DOES get hit by blizzard penallties.

T19 ( 23Oct1941 ) : Here's the front lines after Soviet recon but before any Soviet movement. I see at least two ways to do the
winter offensive. I could try to drive to the sea to isolate the Rostov Axis groups and also a drive to isolate and destroy the Crimea
group. Other than that I'm not sure I have the manpower to do any real damage during the winter.
EDIT: Maybe I could do some offensive kind of thing with the Leningrad Front. Surround and destroy those few Axis units that form
the light screen around my Leningrad Front troops. ???

I've been putting those combat units that are less than 90% TOE in refit mode so that they fatten up a little and as you can see 2/3 of
the troops are in refit mode. I'm hoping that they are topped off in a turn or two or three so that they can make a better contribution
to the war effort when I use them offensively. I've taken some awesome losses these past 19 turns so I'm not sure what kind of winter
offensive I can mount but I'll give it the old college try.

As you can see from the CR most of the aircraft I have are deployed so the Soviet Air Force is ready for the winter offensive.

Here is a list of the reinforcements that arrived this turn. I need to form a reserve Army with them, and position them where the winter
offensive is going to come from I guess.

I've formed a sort of Reserve Army using the 57th Army as the nucleus. The 57th Army is still assigned to STAVKA since I don't know
yet exactly which front this army will be going to. It depends on who needs the help more.

Suggest the Volkhov Front which is due on turn 23, but beef it up with the arriving division-sized reinforcements.

Here's my moves before and after. I moved some units up closer to the fighting and the CV's are too low for attacking so far so I didn't
do any of that yet.

Here's the OOB, losses, destroyed units, and production. I seem to be low on manpower in the pool. I'm not surprized.

So um........hey you guys.....I found a Lagg-3 group that has 170 kills. The remarkable thing is that the next closest one has 64
kills.
