I am not sure how those numbers even add up to the 2170 land value it is showing.

I'm an engineer too. Take it apart and put it back together again to see how it works.

I am a DIY'er. Take it apart and put it together again and hope it still works.

Any parts remaining obviously were not necessary. :-)

Evacuated almost everyone from the Montpellier invasion site. There's no going forward and it's just a matter of time before a disaster occurs. The one bright spot is that we took Cherbourg. Port damage is at 57% (not surprisingly). But we still have the 2 invasion ports on the peninsula. Again though, we face a solid front line.

I think the EF Box is broken....thank you for posting this, because you are demonstrating that it's broken.

Compare that to my game vs. Meklore; in this game, it's Nov 1944. I did pull a bunch of units early, but at the moment, the commitment is about historical. Attached are the Mobile divisions (a couple of PzG cut off at the bottom, but you get the point). I have been consistently refitting units to keep strength up.

To date, I have sent 1.5 mil replacements East, and 800K West, roughly 65/35, so I've been a bit more aggressive than what the engine would give me with box off (60/40 split).

As you can see, the Eastern forces are in reasonable shape for November of 1944.

The payoff? I have lost 130 VPs so far on the Eastern Front, and I am 1 hex ahead of historical. Just one. You are three hexes ahead, and have pulled all Panzer divisions except one.

Also, with 30+ Panzer divisions in the West, there is no way you should lose. It's tough enough as WA with a balanced game, but there's no way the Allies can win when you empty the East like that

Yeah, tell me about it. I can't move. I just pulled everyone out of the south of France - either that or get thrown out. I'm pretty much completely blocked as there is not a hex where I can get enough combat power to make a winning attack.
The Russians are not coming fast enough to suit me.

Uncle Joe could have used Uncle Billy in his march to the sea ...... He'd have been more aggressive

Have pulled out the last remaining Panzer Div and all of the Mechanized Inf Div's from the EF to move West ......

At what point will this twig break under the pressure

Hopefully it will come crashing down like the tree branch in the yard a week ago that was weakened from the ice storm and landed on my head. Pretty much laid me out and I'm lucky nothing got broken - like my neck. That's what I'm hoping for (not injury - just a total collapse by Germany).

Looks the same. Rats. And I can't get enough into 2 hexes to make a decent attack against one German hex....

... Anywhere.
