Not you joc! Certain other individuals that seem to think nobody tests this game before the public gets it.

One dude accused 2x3 of being terrorists and that the testing team suffers from Stockholm syndrome.
Another dude thought someone else made such a witty post about how bad the testing crew was that he made it part of his signature.
Its a wargame people are expected to bitch about mechanics they don't like [:)]
Guilty of at least 2 of the comments, and unrepentant.

If tested properly why didnt these problems get found and resolved.

I would say that the problem isn't how much it was tested, but every update, improvement, or any changes can have unexpected bugs pop up. Even a game as long lived, and played can have new bugs come up with each update. There's no such thing as a perfect game, and personally this game is way more stable than the majority, and we've had two or three updates. Maybe you should put yourself in their shoes before saying they didn't do their jobs.

JeffK: these games take years to perfect. If ever. Your expectations are unrealistic. A game delayed until everything is just right is a game that will never be released and a company that will go bankrupt. No group of testers can ever find everything.

The real question is how quickly a company responds to feedback and puts out patches and if those patches are moving things forward. 2by3 scores well on these metrics and when you buy into one of their games you are buying into that support.

You will only really crack this line by invading behind it and threatening the lines of supply. Or by forcing the Axis to pull units out for reinforcements for other fronts.

Well lets see if I can get things moving in the Italian front

I was expecting to get crushed this turn but instead I made a little progress.
Took Trieste, but I don't know if the spice will flow for that port.

Lots of mud no chance for me to attack.

I move into the correct hex this time to get Fiume to fall.

Flying paratroopers in to help defend the line. Just as a heads up the 52nd air portable division is quite expensive in casualties to move because it has armored vehicles that don't move by air.

Turn 44

The weather clears up so I can attack Im sure I am going to get pounded by a huge Panzer corp at some point, so I am being conservative.
Hopefully my interdiction is going to make it a PITA for pelton to set up his counters.

The main line in italy gets thinned out to deal with my northern italy landing. I take advantage of a single guy on the corner and crack the little river line. Not much in the second line so I am able to bash my way into Rimini.

I should probably start counting what I can see in the lines and compare to what the germans have available to see how much reserve is still waiting out there.

Turn 45

The offensive continues

Germans fall back a little in the north

I think rivers are broken; I go right over the top of another one like its not there.

Don't forget the shown cv may not reflect the impact of air induced disruptions, you've got good interdiction levels so the German units may be weaker than appears at first sight. One test is the cv modification, you should be seeing some sort of malus on your side but its possible the Germans are just falling apart due to disruption etc?

Im not sure how it calculates. I would think my initial CV would be halved for the river before the combat even starts, but I probably have it wrong, as usual =p

These are just minor rivers. I'd be surprised if they do even 10% disruption to you, but I'm not sure what the impact is. In reality those rivers are usually pretty small (if not virtually dry some of the year), but we added them to account for the rough terrain in the area.

So they just do a little disruption? That makes sense from what I am seeing

Turn 46

German lines are cracking, I run over some HQ's in the north in a little breakthrough.

In the south I blast 3 more hexes. . .

Turn 47

Pelton's hordes fall back in the north.

I punch across another river in the south, but my air force fails me and it takes two attacks to get a hole in the line.
Polish Armor leads the charge, but I make a mistake with reserves and they get left all by themselves on the point.

I think they are going to get punished in the german phase.
