05. May/June 1940. China. North Temperate.

communist and Nationalist Chinese forces assault Japanese force in the northern China, with mixed success, to keep pressure on the Japanese army.

05. May/June 1940. Destroyed / Repair Pools.

Chinese losses are high.

05. May/June 1940. China. North Monsoon.

The stalemate continues in southern China.

05. May/June 1940. Coral Sea.

Though the RN took a beating at sea this turn, they're keeping the "back" door open in the Pacific for if (or when) the USA enters the door.

05. May/June 1940. Western Med. North Africa.

Italy entered the war on the first impulse of this turn causing problems for the RN in the Med and the French in North Africa. In fact, the Italian conquered Tunisia this turn.

05. May/June 1940. Cape St. Vincent. The Italian Surprise Impulse.

05. May/June 1940. CP Losses.

A rough turn for the RN and their convoys. The CW lost 11 CPs this turn and saw another 6 forced to abort.

05. May/June 1940. Country Economic Reports.

With the loss of 1 PP for food in flames because of no resource from Australia to Great Britain, the CW was able to overcome their CP losses this turn. However, 11 CPs lost (per turn) is not sustainable!

05. May/June 1940. Italy's Surprise Impulse. Port Attack on the French Fleet.

The Italians had a chance to destroy the French transport but only managed to damage it. No matter, the French aren't in position to reinforce North Africa next turn because the French player "failed" to repair the transport. A major mistake by the French player I think.

05. May/June 1940. Land Combat. Tunis, Tunisia.

With no French units left in North Africa and no chance for the French to reinforce, Algeria and its resource should fall next.

05. May/June 1940. The Western Front.

Not a good turn for the Germans on the Western Front. Minimal gains were made.

05. May/June 1940. Eastern Med. Egypt and Libya.

The only success by the RN this turn was a narrow victory in the Eastern Med against the Italian RM. Also, the British 8th army pushes into Eastern Libya.

05. May/June 1940. USSR Makes a Claim on the Finnish Borderlands.

With the trouble they're having in France, Germany allows the claim.

05. May/June 1940. Nazi-Soviet Pact.

05. May/June 1940. End of Turn. US Entry Options.

The USA is able gear up production from 25 to 50%. Also, for next turn, they're in position to pass the war appropriations bill which will up their production from 50 to 75%.

05. May/June 1940. Trade for next turn.

1. USA reduces traded oil to the CW from 3 to 1.

2. USA deletes the 1 non-resource trade with China. (Japan closed the Burma road this turn).

3. Germany agrees to send 2 non-oil and 1 oil resource to Italy.

05. May/June 1940. Victory Totals.

05. May/June 1940. IJN and Italian RM Challenge to the RN Control of the Sea.

05. May/June 1940. Active Allied Navies.

US Gearing up the 2nd time at half 1940 is big trouble for the Axis.

They'll be soon at war, and then only the God of Uber Rolls can save the Axis.
