The Eastern Empire salutes the resistance of the fine Union soldiers who acquitted themselves honorably and admirably. A shame the same couldn't be said about their leaders. It was a bloody month as the Eastern Empire, lead by the elite armored forces of 1st Guards Army, pushed without rest through 40 km of snow and fortifications to the gates of Nashville. Soon the Union and Japanese trespasser with be thrown into the sea.

"elite forces", "trespasser", ho hum. Nothing to see here but simple Russian aggression, taking lands that have belonged to others since the beginning of recorded history.
The Union continues to position forces in case other nations eventually join the obnoxious Russians.

The Republic marvels at the cooperation between Das Reich and The Empire, with a huge combined British and German fleet of the coast of The Republic this fleet appears to be under British control but consists of a large part of the German Imperial Fleet.

Just to keep this open:
164 destroyer c's Brits
25tb type 23 German
25 ddz1934 German
10 Konigsberg German
3 Ca Deutchland German
1BB Bayern German
5 BB Queens Eliz Brits
25 Cl Danea Brits
8 CA Hawkins
50 Subs brits
8 E Empire Subs
The Eastern Empire has donated around half a dozen 205 artillery pieces, near a dozen tanks, and 60 AT's to Das ( and more coming) and over 20 T28's to Empire in a reciprocal Lend / Lease program. The German naval contribution while sizable is a small portion of the massive northern fleet... and that is just the northern fleet not including carriers. Given The ridiculous amount of free factories the Republic has been spotted, and the amount of wares given, I didn't think this would be an issue. Is it, Tom? If screen shots are needed to affirm the above specs. they are available if requested, as well as all the equipment donated.

We never said we could not provide equipment to our allies. In fact I started out asking for carriers from England and was basically told no at the time. England has the navy they will continue to receive German ships from me as well. I have no carriers so can not protect them anyway.

What a odd pair who said you cannot provide equipment to a ally read the post again. its meant to be a compliment to your ability to cooperate.
The pics are from my intelligence gathering, and they illustrate the work Bombur has put into the MOD.

For me, given that there has been a vein of strife in some recent matches, and I am new at this game, and was also managing two nations, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't breaking any rules or ethics. You have displayed a gentlemen's approach in discourse from what I have witnessed, and if you read your post, marvel and large could hide secondary meanings. I just wanted to confirm that there wasn't any trouble below the surface, and open and blunt was the most expedient way of coming to that conclusion. Glad all is well with the world... a verse of Kumbaya is in order.

Honestly, that's a fine compliment given your high status--I'm blushing. We geeks who love this digital, turn-based warfare are few and far between, I have been waiting since I was a kid to do battle like this... so, I don't want to be the jackass to rock the boat! BTW Ed gave me one last turn as he was away... next turn it's fully back to 3 V 3.

The Union has moved much of the forces near Nashville to other locations. We want to lose very few troops in this spot.
Union aircraft proved far superior to Russian airframes and crews. At the cost of 1 T4M and 4 Goshawks we destroyed 9 TB3, 3 R5, 1 I15, 5 I16T5, and 1 MBR2.
The Union suspects that the USN will be able to make Russian troops miserable till some opposition at sea appears.

The French have pulled back from Alstadt due to the Pounding from the British fleet stationed just of the coast. The French fleet suffered a terrible blow caught in a port they suffered horrendous losses to a carrier strike from the Royal Navy Air Arm and have been forced to pull back. The war is not going well and Britannia does indeed rule the waves.

Ouch!
Well things could be better for the home team. The size of the Royal and Germanic navies is impressive.
We will work on a solution.

The vast carnage strewn across two airfields was the first defeat of the Eastern Empire. The brutal losses spurred an all out ground assault, despite harsh winter conditions. Portions of Japan's city and a critical hilled fortress were taken at the cost many lives. But with overwhelming ground forces poised on the last strongholds of Union and Japanese forces, victory in Operation Snow-Blind is almost at hand.

Some weirdness I can't explain... loaded Empire turn for Ed and the units of all nations were flashing and unable to be accessed. Rebooted the game and same issue. Reboot my comp and all 'seemed' well. Then I sea bombarded a Union port and Empire's Raw immediately dropped 5k. I don't think this is normal. Rebooted and same issue. Thought?

I would think that something went wrong in the save game file. So that the person who played the turn before you, might need to re-upload, or replay.

Okay, thanks sir. Also, I'm a noob, so I'm not sure if this is an issue or a learning experience-- I couldn't run air attacks from carriers on muddy hexes... is that normal? Thanks again.

My land based aircraft also can't take of during mud, I guess its meant to represent cloud cover as opposed to mud, Mud needs rain, rain needs clouds.
