Yeah I suspect I'll chicken out, but things are so bad it might be worth a go. I've been here before with the Commies and they could quickly end up effectively out of the game.

If you wait an impulse, you should be able to hit it with the INF and Warlord, possibly Mao too. The only hex it would be able to move to is the one east of Tianshui and that would disorganise it again.

Yes that is true. I think you have talked me into playing the 'safe' route, although when I say 'safe' it still means the loss of Sian....

Tough choices. With 2 units in Sian we might get a lucky combat roll and it hold out for a while. It eats up some time either way and winter is around the corner. The main problem with losing it is the factories will be trashed. Better that though if it gives the Commies a chance to survive and re-group.

If you do go down the safe route, one refinement to the picture I posted above is to have the Warlord 1 hex further east. That completely traps the CAV Div OOS and only able to move 1 hex if Axis get the first impulse of the new turn.

Sorry I got side-tracked by a load of nonsense on the main forum so haven't got the game open at the mo. I was looking at getting the division in Syria to France on board a cruiser. There is a nasty looking sub in the way but I think its disorganised so should be possible.

Unfortunately, it's a TERR unit which is corps sized and can't squeeze into the boats.

I've been looking at production and need to send the Dutch CP's out. I think CW will need to take a naval move so I can have escorts in place for next turn.

Any preference for the French naval move?

I was going to start looking at the games again this morning but then get Ormster's e-mail. I was just waiting for Mayhemizer and Orm to respond to see if the games are still going ahead.

I'm guessing Mayhemizer is in the affirmative as he posted the start of the next impulse in Nordic 1 this morning.

Games 1 and 2 are waiting for Orm and yourself.
