Turn 15 Center

For Army Group Center supply is good for the first time in 3 weeks. Alas, Moscow is now defended strongly. With the end of the Summer Campaign approaching fast and next week supposedly being mud, von Bock decides against a direct assault of Moscow. Instead Kaluga is to be secured to get to a better assault position in the winter.

It does not work quite as well as hoped, as the pocket can not be fully closed.

Turn 15 South

in the South it is decided to cut Kharkov, which still has much industry present (15 Arm and Su-2), off from the railway. Although the units protecting the southern approaches to Kursk are to be pocketed.

This also does not work quite as well as planned, but will set the stage for the combat of the next few weeks.

West of Stalino the pocket holds and the next Soviet defense line seems to be around the three cities.

The pocket is mostly cleared and the mobile divisions advance as much as possible.
