The situation in the south:

Turn 3 / Impulse 9 (Allies):

The weather turns nasty again:

The Russians do very little since many of their units are disorganized and others stayed with them to provide protection against attacks. (no pictures)

Turn 3 / Impulse 11 (Axis):

Given the weather it is unlikely the Germans will get another turn. So land units behind the front rushed east in the rain and did not mind if they did become disorganized this late in the turn. The Germans advanced only in a very few hexes and strengthened the front line.

The Axis conducted no attacks since many units were out of supply because of the weather.

This is the (almost) unchanged situation at the end of the Impulse.

The situation in the south:

Turn 3 / Impulse 13:

The Russians did receive one last action in which the out of supply motorized unit in the Pripet Marches moved one hex east in order to escape. The Russian HQs also re-organized just in case. But the turn ended here.

Turn 3 / Impulse 1:

The Germans win the initiative but the weather turns nastier.

Turn 4 /Impulse 1:

The situation at the start of the turn in the south. It is worth noting that unrest in German occupied Russia/Ukraine resulted in the appearance of Partisans. (There was only one hex where they could enter behind German lines.)

Turn 4 / Impulse 1:

Despite the weather and urged on by the approaching winter the Germans declare one attach in the north and south each.

The attack in Latvia goes relatively well (9) and eliminates all defenders but the attacking German units are disorganized early in the turn again and one Prussian Militia unit had to sacrifice itself to ensure success. But units following have now access to Estonia.

The attack in the south failed completely (3) and a Rumanian militia was lost (and all attackers disorganized) with no compensation whatsoever.
