The French rearrange their forces. Too much to cover and not enough to do it with means risks have to be taken.

USSR occupies Eastern Poland to howls of protest from the US (3 rolled, marker removed).

CW debarks MOT to Antwerp.

The Communists launch an offensive. No HQ support added. Odds are 21:6. Does the Japanese NAV wish to add support?

Edit: Also, which table?

The two sides trade a MIL unit. The Communists hope their disorganisation won't become an issue.

The CVP on the Bearn rebases to Nantes.

No reorgs.

Turn ends on a 1 (less than 4).

No partisans.

How do the Germans wish to place their pact markers?

USSR places its marker to defence.

US puts a chit into the Ge/It pool.

Having played a useful role in the opening phase of the war, the Bearn is handed over to the US for internment. The US promptly rips it apart and converts it into a naval transport. For some reason, the Germans and Italians get particularly annoyed about this (2 rolled, chit shifted into the Ge/It tension pool).

Okay so let's go through this step by step. My first attempt at an end of turn with the Allies for about a billion years.... and with oil so should be heaps of fun....

I'll log everything so that any mistakes can be evident if/when I need to re-do this. I can see lots of errors in my CW placement already but hey, that's part of the learning curve.

I get the game at Preliminary production and the plan is to complete this end of turn in one sitting to try and stop any bugs creeping in.

STAY AT SEA - AXIS

Nothing is staying at sea except the convoys currently in place

STAY AT SEA - ALLIES

CW - Various SCS in the 4 and 1 boxes of the key convoy routes remain at sea together with a fleet in the North Sea

France - All CA/CL (except Jeanne D'Arc) remain at sea.

RETURN TO BASE - AXIS

Germany - the He-115C returns to 47,35
Italy - Both SUB return to La Spezia
Japan - the three SCS and 3 TRS in the China Sea return to Fukuoka

RETURN TO BASE - ALLIES

CW - All surplus units head for key bases: Plymouth, Gibraltar, Port Said and a few others dotted around

France - The BB and Jeanne D'Arc head for Marseilles

USA - Nimitz is sent to Pearl and two empty TRS go back to San Diego

USE OIL - AXIS

Germany - The Berlin oil is used to reorganise all 2.8 units (3 Oil)

Italy - No point is expended to reorganise all 0.4 units (0 Oil)

Japan - The Niigata oil is used to reorganise 1 point and the Sendai oil is not expended to reorganise the remaining 0.45 units (1 Oil) - this leaves 2 x CL and an AMPH disorganised

I can see lots of errors in my CW placement already but hey, that's part of the learning curve.
If you are talking about CW production then I see no errors. At least when considering the number of factories that produce. All of the 22 CW factories produce. A lot of oil seems to be saved and none destroyed.

The three Polish factories can not be used for production because Germany, and the aligned Soviet Union, has blocked Poland from any possibility to get a resource to a factory.

So what CW could perhaps, and I really mean perhaps, have been able to get a resource to the Belgian factory but that would require a convoy chain down to the Belgian resource in Africa, or the Dutch resource in South America, and that seems rather implausible considering that CW had only one impulse in doing so and wound have needed to take an naval to do it, hence abandoning the CW reinforcement of Belgium. The CW units in Belgium seems the wise choice here.

So all in all the CW production seems as close to perfect as it can get.

But perhaps the comment was not intended for the CW production?
