i rule question / comment, i think for the alignment due to 4 french units Yu should align to France (as they are the country with the units...) - is this the rule or they can align to UK as well?

was any consideration given to landing UK units in YU port and marching into albania or Yu and aligning Greece? assuming the UK can get their units there it would give the axis another thorn to deal with and possibly create fortress greece for a long time if not forever...(depending how many UK units can be spared from france and NA)

You can't align Greece to your side (except if the other side declares war on the country).

Appreciate it! Centuur above quotes the relevant rule to aligning Greece.

In my case only France could align Yugoslavia. With respect to getting CW units into Yugoslavia, the allies were than, and continue to be now (Jul/Aug 40) locked it a bitter struggle with Italy & Germany in the Med. The Euro-Axis have the advantage in air power, which makes operating in the Italian Coast untenable for anything more than raiding. Even for raiding, the risk to ships and subs is great.
