The men and the lizards are topless too, so it is not discriminatory.

Any chance that we can see a screenshot(s) of the proposed new forum? Will it be similar to any other existing forum? lastly: Are you going to take some sort of pol as to what members may want, or would like in the new forum?[&:]

Some good news happened in the last couple of days:
"Beginning in 2022, benefits will increase by 5.9% for a cost-of-living adjustment, or COLA, the Social Security Administration announced on Wednesday, marking the biggest increase since 1982.
That translates into an additional $92 a month for the average retiree, or $1,657 in total monthly benefits, according to the Administration’s estimations. One in 4 seniors depends exclusively on those benefits as their sole source of income."

That means that inflation is higher and the monies and assets that you have saved are worthless.

I don't know, operating. Perhaps in the General Discussion forum, but the WitP:AE forum (where I spend most of my time) continues to be very active. I suspect that several other game specific forums (WitE, etc) also still have their Mojo.

Oh absolutely aware of conversations at other Matrix forums and notice that those conversations are not always game specific.[;)]

On the always dependable WitE2 forum the debate is reaching the “Axis AFV losses and credit default swaps: a viable option?” - level, so, life as usual.

I think the classic all time discussion was on the TOAW forum, don't recall which version, but not the current one, in which it was found jeeps could kill tanks.

That debate was flawed from the beginning, as Norm Kroger had said as back as the first TOAW that the combat model worked “as long as the players created reasonably realistic formation” (IIRC it was even in the manual). Then someone discovered that 1000 jeeps could kill 1 Tiger tank and cries of “the model is broken!” keep Pacific islanders awake. Apparently what a developer says about his own game is not so important. [8|]

Yes. Seems a lot of old timers visit here less often. If at all. And new posters are few and far between. They doesn't seem to stay. Maybe because they are just looking for specific stuff?

Hi Orm,
Been thinking about your post and don't have an appropriate response as to what is and what isn't. It maybe a pregnant pause while waiting for the updated forum version here, I don't know. Maybe a thread dedicated to "JOKES" might liven things up.[:)]

The problem with jokes nowadays is that there is always someone desperate to be offended so you need to choose your target audience wisely.
I think that there are too many people (well at least a few I could name) keen to rubbish threads, but have no wish to bother contributing to new threads or join in conversation on existing threads. To those people I say, if existing threads are not to your taste... then as a member of our little wargaming community, why not start one that is?
