Supply Turn 19
Not good, i was rolling in supplies during the summer months my rail system was doing reasonable well some areas keeping a great pace with the advancing Armee's.
Now its a disaster, oh well take the good with the bad and soldier up.

I keep reading on the forums how players are putting some or all of there Pz units in the reserve for refit.
...
I was wondering the same.
And vs human, to my surprise it is easier, while AI can attack in any point and that is why you are forced to have good defense everywhere.
If you are playing with unlocked TBs then you can send some panzers to a west and get ID instead. It worked very good in my game.

AG South Turn 19
Stalino is under threat as the Soviets throw everything they have to stop my troops from encircling the city.
Behind the advancing 1st Pz and 17th Armee's I am preparing a defensive network with both Romanian Armies along the rivers.
In the Crimea we have isolated Sevastopol and push towards Kerch cutting off 2 enemy units in the process.
This will be the last major offensive in the south before winter.

I Have been tempted to play with a unlocked TB , maybe in couple games time, i have also been really tempted to bring Rommel back from Africa and put him in command of either a Armee or Army Group, wicked ideas running through my head
Also a open TB gives to much temptation or FUN which ever you feel to pull heaps of Pz DIV's for short burst on the Eastern front and crush the AI quickly, well that would be my kind of temptation.
cheers

You can not pull a lot of panzers, or any other units, from TBs without sending there some other units. Once TB requirements drops to X% you can not pull units out of it.

Yeah I know you cant every single Pz Unit and you need to swap the ones you do take with INf, however it is tempting to take just enough not to penalise you.
On a related subject do you and are you playing PVE games or PvP games and how are they going for you
Cheers

I was playing vs Soviet AI at 100%, ai was super passive, no counter attacks, except of winter. I took Moscow and many other cities. No point to continue that game. It was my first game in this series.
And then I decided to play vs human, and you already made a comment in that AAR
https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/view ... 2&t=379354
I think that I will not continue that game, despite almost perfect `41 winter, and there is a long list of the reasons.
I do not want to write them here, I will list them in AAR if we decide that there is no sense to continue that game.

AG North Turn 20
Slow going in the North, terrain, supplies and exhaustion are a bigger enemy than the Russians.
My troops are spread thin across the front and the defenders just keep coming.
Cross the Volkhov river in some places, but cant break there line.

AG Centre Turn 20
Again due the front line being so long I have had break down DIV's, and with the state my Army is in the soviets will just run over me during the winter.
I wont to try to straighten the line so I can put some of the DIV's back together also currently a Pz Korps from 3 Pz holds Vyshny Volocheck, here its to vulnerable and could be encircled.
I will hold as long as I can until I can get 16th Armee to push forward and remove the salient.
9th Armee is completely broken down and will probably be steamrolled come winter, regiments will not hold against multiple DIV's.
The bulk of 3rd Pz stationed blow it is in just as worse shape.

AG South Turn 20
In the south I am very close to taking Stalino also Taganrog is very close, i would like to hold a line along the river as close to Rostov as I can.
In The Crimea its but cleared as the Russians cross the Kerch Straits, only Sevastopol remains in Soviet hands.
Behind the Germans in the Ukraine I am beginning to set up the Romanians in defensive positions, I will need them if and when a breakthrough by the Russians occurs.

Supply Turn 20
Well there is some improvement if you could actually call it that, I am now getting half of what I need instead of just a third.
Its not even Dec, cant wait for that " penalty " to kick in and make it even more.

Losses Turn 20
Losses are what its expected to be at this time, not expecting to those half million men pockets in this situation.
Hopefully I have captured enough men to give the AI food for thought and maybe it might take caution attacking through the winter.

AG North Turn 21
Captured Shlisseburg and started to push the Russians towards Volkhov and Novaya Ladoga.
In other places I continue to put pressure on the enemy as it falls back, further South Valdai is taken, I almost have control of the entire Hills here.
The first taste of the blizzard weather starts to bight as my troops push forward.

AG Centre Turn 21
There is now a large force in front of Moscow, I am pulling troops back and reorganising a defensive line.
The weather is not helping and are troops keep getting withdrawn to the west, making it difficult to plug the holes.
The party is about to begin.

AG South Turn 21
Surprisingly I am still pushing forward here in The Ukraine, one last objective to take before I go over to the defensive.
Stalino is close to falling and it looks like I might take Taganrog.
Next turn I may be able to cross the straits in the Crimea and take up positions in and around temryuk.
