I have seen the turn.

You will be fine. Ceylan is affordable. Just forget the hurry of "doing something".

1942 Menu:
1.- Zero AF or port build ( go to the base screen click stop all AF and ports ).
2.- Hidden your carriers. Better off map
3.- Your opponent LOVEs raiding. Send small convoys 2/3 max all over the ocean.
4.- Never ever do something offensive. Never think on click the "Deliberatte attack" . Never. No. No!!  Specially at China!!
5.- Don't lose troops. Retreat is a good maneouver always.
6.- Australian invasion is meh. Jusy retreat to Alice Springs: Make it for4 and AF 5, and bomb japs. End of Australian problem.
7.- Consolidate units and upgrade devices. Andy Mac has some very good posts about it.

Good luck !!! 8-) 8-)

The defining moment of our campaign has occurred. Our brave British and American sailors risked it all for a do-or-die attack on the invading Japanese fleets forming near Trincomalee. This turn was an absolute blood bath. There was a winner and loser here, and I would like you to be the judge after watching the outcome. This is probably the longest video I've ever made for this campaign, so please comfortable. You're in for a wild ride!

Not bad. 8-) . A pity Trincomalee but the two CVL just themselves made Ceilan a draw.

Good work!!

You showed a lot of frustration with ships continuing to shoot at a ship already in sinking condition. There are two reasons for that:
1. Historically, Allied ships tended to shoot at the most visible ship, or the closest/slowest one. Alfred confirmed that ships on fire at night are much more likely to be targets. And observation of numerous battles shows that the slowest ship is usually first target. And at night it would be hard to be sure that a burning ship is sinking. The fire might even interfere with night vision for seeing the other ships out there.

2. At one point (IIRC) Alfred told us that battles are calculated in 5 minute segments - so all the shooting taking place in that 5 minute segment from all the ships is displayed, not necessarily in the order it happened. For example, one of the ships hit by two torpedoes managed to fire back and get hits on enemy ships. Those shells were already in the air when the ship took the torpedoes but the game showed them after showing the torpedo hits. You can see the game battle segments when the animation cycles through all the ships that fired that segment and then starts to cycle through another round of firing from some of the same ships. So relax - your ships aren't always flogging a dead dragon - their attacks were already underway before the dragon was definitely down!

You did very well on the ship exchange there - you get loads of replacements, Japan does not. And if Japan lost a lot of experienced pilots that will be a major blow too (although the smaller IJ carriers don't start with pilots anywhere near as good as the KB ones).

Thanks guys! 4 enemy CVs destroyed in one turn isn't a bad day.

Well, 1 CV, 2 CVLs and a CVE.
