And of course, here's the combat report:

TF 13 is sucking down the last of the resources from Makassar for a while.

The 14th Div is still about 5 hexes away from Port Arthur so I'm thinking that this TF has enough time to unload and still make it to Port
Arthur in time to haul the 14th Div to somewhere to be determined.

I'm unloading 36 Nates at Rabaul but now that they are unloading there I'm thinking I should have moved them south to Tulagi maybe.
They would be that much closer to Guadalcanal when it finally gets an airbase and can just hop over there.

I'm declaring Rabaul a minor hub and I'm sending 10K of supplies there to help boost the availability of supplies to the outlaying islands
and the Buna area. Supplies are also going to go to Ocean Island and Tarawa in that order. Jim is going to start contesting my
conquests and harassing my troops and I'd like to have everything ready when he does. I figure I have about two months before it really
starts to heat up a bunch. But I've been wrong before.

The 4th Inf Rgt is done with it's tasks where it is so I thought I'd move it to Malang so as to be more useful. I'm hoping that the addition
of these additional troops will be what's needed to get the advance moving again in Java. This is what happens when you spread
yourself too thin on the ground. I'm having to re-use units for multiple serial tasks.

Lunga is receiving some AF dudes so as to be ready when the air base gets expanded to a level 1. Probably a couple of weeks away?

Jim and I exchanged emails and I watched the movie etc. So stand by for some fresh combat results. Just lemme check out what Tracker sez and I'll edit this post to include the first installment.

Tracker says that I sank the Warspite at Townsville. I did not know that. Huh.

Here's the resource history of the Japan home islands. Oil and fuel are still in freefall but supplies are increasing slightly and it's looking
like the bottom may have been reached on the fall of resources. Maybe. For a while.

There was a night air attack on Darwin first of all:

And then there was a night naval bombardment of Port Moresby: The perpetrators are already about 1/2 way home ( Buna ) and I'm
going to give them a drink of fuel from the AO and I've got a group of AKE's at Buna that will re-arm them and then we can do it all over
again in a couple of days.

And then Georgetown saw some aerial action. I'm kind of disappointed that my Oscars didn't score but then I looked at the relative
altitudes of the contestants and saw why there was no action of any kind. They were probably not in sight of each other for one thing.
And the relative altitudes would give the Allies the advantage anyway. Also, I see that Jim has caused his CV's to wander into range
of my Land-Based-Air again. I'll have to give him a real big Jap welcome.

And then the Japs did their daily Port Moresby raid:

Then came an air raid on Manila:

And then the Allies launched a carrier-borne attack on Patani:

Here's how it went on the ground at Manila: I'm really amazed at the disparity between the sizes of the troops present and the losses
sustained. He's got way more than me in the troops department and more guns and he STILL was the one loosing troops. He must be
really really out of supply or something. Maybe I should skip the "rest" I was going to give the divisions and just press ahead. Nah, this
war will last a while yet. No hurry I guess.

And then the Allies did their daily ground bombardment of Port Moresby. As you can see, some of my guys are out of supply and I'm
having to just defend rather than do my own bombardment. I can't think of another way to get more supplies into there that doesn't
involve the loss of some ships. At least right now.
