The port of Adelaide gets attacked by the Japanese. Allies roll 1, Axis roll 10. Radar gave early warning to the port authority, which was able to cover large area's of the port in smoke. The Japanese pilots couldn't see any targets. The combat was avoided.

A Stuka ground strikes the garrison at Kuybyshev:

Kesselring, the Finnish Ski division and an INF are railed towards Leningrad. At the Ostfront, Rommel personally leads an attack on Soviet positions in the woods near Kazan. After some thinking, the Luftwaffe decides to support the attack. The Soviet FTR doesn't intercept, after seeing the odds:

Von Rundstedt orders an attack on Kuybyshev:

Apperently, there are some morale issues in the German army attacking here. Von Rundstedt reorganises the mobile forces and gives the soldiers a necessary peptalk: “look at what the Bolsheviks are fighting with! Men hardly equipped with rifles and obsolete guns. Victory is near, but it won't happen if you don't believe in it and start throwing low dice”... Here is the Ostfront:

Italian marines capture Kuwait, Guderian and von Bock strengthen positions and stay put. The war will be won in the USSR, not in Egypt or Morocco. So why attack and run the risk of high losses? It isn't that easy to get reïnforcements into the area fast, so it's better to preserve the units. There isn't anything of value to be taken too. It's a long, long way to a resource (let alone if one could get it back towards a factory).

In the far east, Umezu moves towards Chita. Other Japanese units link up near Khabarovsk and start moving towards the city of Komsomolsk, which is the last city under Soviet control in the area. In Australia, Yamashita moves slowly forward. Broome gets taken by Marines, leaving no allied port at the Timor Sea area. Terauchi, who's been sitting in defensive positions along the Birmese-Chinese border for years, suddenly receives orders to start moving his forces to the west, along the Birma Road. Yamamoto captures Rangoon and starts moving north:

Allied planes execute a ground strike in Morocco. It appears Eisenhower is getting impatient. After some thinking, the Luftwaffe elects not to intercept:

Eisenhower personally directs an attack against the ground struck hex, with considerable aid of the Brazilian army. A combined Brazilian US naval BB task force provides shore bombardment. The Luftwaffe reacts in ground support. FTR's from both side enter the battle:

The intervention of the Luftwaffe reduced this attack from a +14 on the Blitzkrieg table to a +8. Still a little too much for von Bock to be happy about:

In Australia, the Allies slowly advance. However, without air in the theater, there is no way MacArthur can attack. There is nothing for the Allies to gain, but a lot to lose (resources)...

Germany and Italy take air actions, Japan takes a land action. The airforce needs to be in position and not somewhere behind the frontlines, having no effect at all.

The Italians fly NAV into the Red Sea into the 3 box. The Italian squadrons search for the Allied cruisers. A CW FTR reacts. Axis roll 9, Allies roll 10.

Air units are railed towards Morocco and to the Ostfront. In Birma, the Japanese start moving towards the oilfields. In Australia, Umezu's forces capture Chita. Air units are rebased in a lot of theaters. The Junkers is used to reorganise a Ju-88 bomber in Morocco.

Turn doesn't end (10% chance, 2 rolled). And here is the weather for the next couple of impulses:

The weather is disturbing. That is, according to the Soviet high command. Such nice weather can wreck havoc on the retreating Soviet army. With only 50% chance of the turn ending, the Soviets cannot pass.
