Guess Italy went for combined or naval then, not land.
Sorry, Italy and Japan combined. Edited to original post.

M/J 41 Allied 9
No DoW.
All pass except CW, Land for a 40% chance to end the turn.
CW advances in Greece and the Mil and a Div enter Rome. XI Mot swaps places with Yug Cav in Trieste.
No combats or reorgs.
On a 3, turn ends.

M/J 41 end of turn
A partisan appears in Korea and takes up position in the mountains east of Seoul. Another appears in the Netherlands and sits on the resource hex. 2 partisans appear in Russia, next to the Inf Div that cut the Murmansk road.
US puts a chit in the Ge/It pot. Fleet relocates to Pearl but it passes unnoticed and tension remains the same. US occupies Greenland and Iceland, which does increase tension in Ge/It. US also resolves to send resources to China, which increases tension.

I wonder ... CW has Rome, Trieste is a City with a Blue Factory.
What's the CW Garrison factor vs the Axis Garrison Factor in Italy?
If the latter is true, Italy would surrender no?

CW also has Tripoli, so garrison factors don't matter. Italy should surrender.

That's quite a feat, but careful on the impact of USE! It's pretty heavy if I remember correctly the table. *goes to check* Hmm, a -18 if Allies conquer Italy.

Nice rolls. It would have been fun to see ARM HQ take the first hit
Edit: We are doomed, but we will make you pay before that!
Glad to hear it. [8D] Don't give up the ship!

Oh dear! Looks like I missed that one on the chart. It's amazing how well the eyes fail to spot something you don't want to see.
It should help cheer the Axis up and keep the game interesting. US entry is that screwed on the Ge/It front (partly through choice in USSR DoW'ing Germany) what's another 2 chits

The conquest of Italy is far more important than US entry in this game. Even if the CW can't hold on Rome in the long run...
Germany has overstretched itself, has far to many fronts to fight on. So it's very important to try to make Germany react on things by creating new small fronts, threathening to do all kinds of nasty things. The economic loss of Italy (even if only for a turn or two), together with the removal of units and the halving of Italy's force pool is quite an achievement.
I believe the Allies can handle the removal of chits in this game...

Thanks Centuur. That's reassuring.

Italy was partially conquered. Il Duce relocated to Italian Somaliland.
Also Hungary returned to Axis control.

[:D] I forgot they still had it. World domination can't be far behind.

Was the third item that the Allies hold Tripoli, or that the Allied garrison factors were greater than the Italian? I looked for a map that reflected the garrison factors at the end of the turn and didn't find one that had all the necessary information.
