Yes Pete, can open it no problem. Comes up with details. Perhaps as a suggestion it then could be cut and paste onto this page every month?

Thanks Harry. Good to know it works. The link takes you to the last updated position that Early Doors posted. But sorted by percentage of games won.

The problem with copying and pasting is that all the formatting is lost and it becomes virtually unreadable. Here is a small example.
Rank Name Games Wins Win Ratio
1 Cpuncher 7 7 100
2 Iwarmonger 4 4 100
3 JNaspirant 2 2 100
4 tedstriker19 1 1 100
5 DoXiTXxX 1 1 100
6 stelel 1 1 100
7 Calaf 1 1 100
8 Jkap 1 1 100
I am looking at other options but for now if that link works I will go with it and collate the latest results.

So having established the link works I have updated the list to include all results reported up to the end of August.

Players highlighted in yellow have posted results since Early Doors last update. Apologies in advance if I've missed anyone.

Congratulations to Thunderlizard11 on racking up 100 games.

Top current talent include Fafnir, Bavre, redrum68 & OldAHgamer.

ELO game ends:
Allor (aka GADJAN) (Axis) [WIN] vs. Pekkavilamoura (Allies) [Loss]
Axis resign end '44 as Soviets are subdued.
Axis struggle early as Poland didn't surrender until Nov '39. France held on until late summer '40. Japan was pressed hard in China until early '41. Italy was booted from Ethiopia in mid '41 and the u-boats were mercilessly hunted. North Africa and Malta were turning points as German armor with luftwaffe support turned the Med into an Italian bathtub. Barbarossa started late but pressed ahead. By mid '42 the axis started to gain the upper hand. Japanese were every where by the end . China was holding on by a thread, India was invaded and New Zealand lost until the USN and marines restored control in mid '43.

Good game by Pekka with good turn returns.

Ktonos(Axis) [WIN] vs. Pekkavilamoura (Allies) [LOSS]

Allies resigned early 1944 as Russia capitulated. Axis got Egypt early but couldn't push to Iraq, China suffered throughout game. US heavily invested its fleets to the Atlantic leaving Japs uncontested in the Pacific.
