Wow, a defensive penalty just took 3 points off the board for our good Captain and SF scored a touchdown right after!  Only 1 point for Mandrake, and I still have a field goal cushion.  Oops, no, slightly less than a 3 point lead now.

Good morning. Weatherman was spot on with a foot of snow.. .not. If it wasn't all over the news, I wouldn't even be able to tell this was a "Winter Storm"...little slick this morning.. however, the weathermen in this area are right .05% of the time anyways...

Jeff, I only tease, because you sound as excited at the prospect of snow as we all get, here in Raleigh.  It's not very common here, and it's a big deal.  [:)]

Haha, its no biggy. I really enjoy snow. It is rather peaceful on the flat, rolling plains...

Farmers Almanac had us pegged for snowier than normal and colder than normal. Hmmm. 36 degrees for today and still brown on the prairie. Not that I'm complaining.[8D] We've cheated winter for about eight weeks now. It's early yet, we can still be punished.

When we're expecting 3-4" of the white stuff, radio and television announcers and weather personalities fall all over themselves reminding us that it's slick driving on wet snow. Duh...really? [8|]

Radio commentators have (tongue in cheek) been referring to the next great SNOWNAMI when we're expecting snow of any substantive measure.

I'm enjoying the brown winter! 32F today. Positively balmy! [8D]

Speaking of the weather guy being wrong a lot...

Albert Pujols gets a quarter of a billion over the next 10 years to be wrong 67% of the time... not a bad gig at all...

Gearing up for the 600 mile night drive up to my ol' folks home up north.

Speaking of snow, it will be nice to see some real winter instead of slushy Stockholm. [:)]
