Okay..........Jim and I have exchanged files, I've watched the movie and here's some Tracker Alerts. Note the Alert about the Allied CV.

I-9 got an Allied AK near Sydney:

One of my subs finds some Allied ships quite by accident:

It's my understanding that the Allied CV, the Indomitable, sank from this attack. Lucky hit.

And then there was a night naval bombardment of Darwin:

Lack of proper prior planning produced this pitiful picture. Lemme try it again. Oh, and by the way, the transport that got hit is still
trucking on to Truk.

This Jap air attack was almost expensive.

And then there was a daytime air attack on Darwin.........and by the way, I just noticed that all the naval bombarding has knocked 10 of
Darwin's Resource Centers off-line. So now Darwin's engineers have something else to work on besides fortifications.

And at Manila, my Nell's and Betty's launched an air raid in heavy rain. What troopers. Where do we get men like these?

And then for completeness there was an airstrike at Cagayan:

22 Oscars at Taiping and only 2 of them fly. Well, at least they finally shot something down. I'll let 'em buy me a beer.

And then the Kaga launches a strike that worked out okie dokie.

Here's how it went on the ground at Manila. Notice that I have lots of units resting in an adjacent hex ( 1 hex NE ). I'm sure that some
of them are ready to put back into the meat grinder......I'm going to start some DA's as soon as the 38th Division arrives. About 2 days.

4 of my vessels, 3 subs and a cruiser, have had their Float Plane shot down or Ops Losses or something. I have to make a mental note
to check the ships that come into port so I can swap out their search plane unit for one that has one.
