Maybe we should ask Alfred. [:D]
We were both wrong; not even if the projectiles were round. A round object radius=1 has volume ~4.189, a round object radius=6 has volume 904. 904^1/3 (cube root) = 9.669.

I they were square, 2x2x2 would have a volume of 8. 12x12x12 would have a volume of 1728. 1728^1/3 (cube root) = 12.

Or rectangles, 2x2x10 would have a volume of 40. 12x12x60 would have a volume of 8640. 8640^1/3 (cube root) = 20.520.

Maybe cube root is an approximation that somebody worked out for 1/6th scale for that actual shape of projcetile?

Good analysis. A cylinder of radius 1 and length 5, which is a close approxmation, would have a volume of Pi*r^^2*L = 15.7 and one six x the size would be 3391.2....which is a ratio of exactly 216 ....which is 6 cubed.

This is exactly the answer CaptDave provided and he even stipulated it was an approximation. [:)]
I say he earned himself a brand new Ventura GR V with the snazzy paint scheme.

How much fun would it be to put one in your yard, lower the elevation and aim it an annoying neighbor. [:)]

Pharmacy instructions have been simplified to 3rd grade levels and are no longer even full sentences....more like steam of consciousness notions.

"Chew and swallow" as if the average patient would chew the pill and keep it in their cheek pouch. Today, I picked up a medicine (no, it wasn't Cialis) that said "Swallow whole". That's all it said.

So I asked the clerk

Me: Do I swallow the whole bottle?

Nice Asian clerk: These instructions.

Me: Right, but my question is what do I swallow whole? The bottle or just one pill?

Nice Asian clerk: <several seconds of processing information then her eyes grow wide...well, wider> Oh, no sir! Just one pill at time!

Me: Oh, thank you. You've been very healpful!

Sounds like my Sister trying to sign up for Obama-care. She didn't understand a paragraph so she called up the help line. They read the paragraph back to her. She told them she could read what it says, she just didn't understand what it meant. So they read it back to her again.

She still believes Obama will straighten everything out if the GOP will just get out of the way.[&:][&:]

Is that a UFO coming down to pick up the 25lber?

Maybe it would be nice of the guys with the skinny necks to drop the piece off at your place on their way back to the Andromeda galaxy?

Will Obama personally read the paragraph back to her? He does have a nice speaking voice.

It looks more like it ran aground, despite the proximity of the lighthouse.
