We have traditionally capped each version of THE THREAD!!! at 1000 pages so it won't over-burden the forum software, and started a new one. Again, this is either the 7th or 8th version since the WitP days. With the new forum software likely coming long before we reach 1000 pages, I'm not sure how well it will do with that much data at a time. Also, it seems the new forum software uses a different number of posts per page as it's default. We may need to use some of that math stuff to figure how many pages will give us the equivalent of 30,000 posts for a fair comparison of how things are being handled.

If my favorite animated coffee smiley doesn't work in the new forum software I'll be heartbroken. [:D]

Chickenboy is still around and posts occasionally, and I'm pretty sure he was posting in the first version of THE THREAD!!! Of course, Leo (Apollo11) is still here and I think he was also active in Version 1. I'm not sure if Grollub was active yet back then or not, but he posts occasionally. I'm probably missing someone, but most of the other old timers aren't active on the forum anymore.
