Kuriles Turns out Ok-jima garrison is stronger than anticipated but surprise is good. We bomb P-jima airfield from Shemya.

Naha is a tough nut. Good terrain for the defense and a supporting base protected by a fortress next door. It took the equivalent of 5 Allied divisions.

Also demonstrated is the extreme utility of Horycrappo-jima (Miyako-jima), Batan Is. and Karenko. These 3 bases need garrisons before the Arries get within paradrop range.
