Saw the Vulcan up close and personal when it was still in service and came over to display at the Toronto Air Show.
I was stationed at CFB Trenton where the Vulcan and other birds practiced and flew the Toronto mission. Sitting at the end of the
runway just outside the perimeter fence when the Vulcan took off and put in full power for a steep climb - the very ground trembled.
The power and noise of those engines was incredible.
No wonder they guzzled so much fuel that the Falklands raid required something like 8 air-to-air refuelling sessions per Vulcan! That
just made the raid more remarkable.
Didn't we refuel them? Or let them refuel in the Azores?

Definitely NOT Cleveland. Too picturesque.
The eaves have huge overhangs and many roofs are very steeply pitched and there are quite a few very oddly designed two story houses with 15x15 ft first floors.
NOT the US. It must rain or snow like Hell there. Probably Southern NZ somewhere.

Looks like Martlett II's in front and some kind of export P-40 with the wings off in back.
Planes in back have 4 blade props.

The shape of those canopies makes me think of some P-39 type. Specifically, look at the one 2nd from the right, which is the right-most one where you can see the canopy.

There is a big air inlet under the prop. Not a P-39. Plus there is the small matter of the wings.[:)]

Wings, schmings. Those things reduce dive speed.
