Been thinking about what I'd do for the Japanese people of today versus the Libyan people of today.

Don't want to make this a political discussion, of course...

...but it is.

So, I keep coming back to the issue of the Libyan insurrection / uprising versus the need for Japanese rebuilding aid.

No comparison.

One country (and its leadership / citizens) has thumbed its nose at us for 30 years.  The other has been a loyal and inimitable ally for the last 70 years.

Hmmm....which to focus rebuilding / interventional efforts on?

I'll help y'all out a bit-much as they couldn't possibly care less about us...I couldn't care less about a certain North African country right now.  Military intervention?  Are you kidding me?  Enjoy your civil war, Libya.
