New ELO game begins:

Moongaz3r (Axis) vs petedalby (Allies)
Allies resign in June 44 with Perm just about to fall. Allied NM low so didn't seem right to drag it out. Great play from Moongaz3r! Far too many mistakes by me!! :) Very prompt turns and good comms - this guy is very good!!

Props to petedalby, fast game with a lot of action, I liked very much his aggressive playstyle! Two major naval battles between the Allies and IJN in Indian ocean and near the Phillipines had me sweating bullets when watching the replays, always nice to see action in the Pacific.

redrum68 (Axis) [WIN] v. wirkey (Allies) [LOSS]

Allies surrender Sept 1941 as China is about to surrender and the Axis have crushed the USSR already approaching Moscow and Kuybyshev. The USSR probably survives 1941 but should lose all its capitals in early 1942.

Good game from wirkey.

Game #205 [LOSS] ElvisJJonesRambo (Allies) vs HarrySmith (Axis) --- Allies surrender 1944 early.

Allies just didn't win any battles, kept coming up on the short end.

Poland/LowCountries/France --- Those blue French pieces did notta, Brits so-so to below average

The plan: British went full-out on Bombers (built an extra) and Transport tech.
USA: Heavy Maritime Bombers, Strategic Bombers, Long Range
Russia: pray for snow
India: Tanks

Battle of Britain --- Sucked, RAF Fighters took a lashing from Luftwaffee.
Battle of North Sea --- British Carriers and Bomber were trashing Norway soft targets, with full intent of landing. Kreigsmarine kicked my ass outta nowhere one turn. I didn't lose any Carriers, but the German surface ships had upgraded Level-2. My shelling had to be obvious to counter. Didn't expect. Royal Navy took off, small loss.
Operation Torch/Tunisa/Malta --- Royal Navy showed up, and later the USAAF. Lost couple carriers ports of Malta. Americans lost fighters freshly operando into Tunisia. Medium Bombers from Sicily were waiting for me. This sucked, another Battle loss.
Egypt --- I won this, but too slow. Had the battle won, but near end lost 2 units for no reward trying to cutoff Italians, didn't need too. Dumb.
Battle of Atlantic --- With the other losses, the Kreigmarine were free to raid Murmansk. this sucked.
Operation Husky --- Yeah, I took Sicily, but once again, no momentum with Fighter losses.
Middle East --- Another pile fight at Jerusalem, Allies didn't win the battle. Got sand weather on key turn.

Marshall Island / Tarawa --- Was an exchange. Lost couple units, killed a couple. Grab couple islands. But wasn't winning, I count this a tie, thus win for Japs.
China --- My opponent was building ships and Maritime, so China survive. I didn't do anything special nor did Japan. Stalemate here in 1944. Advantage Japan.
Burma --- India came in with the Tank strategy. Couldn't get a good punch turn. Actually forgot to reinforce one turn, really, really hurt. Slight advantage Japan.
Invasion Korea / Hiroshima --- With the stalemates, had to try something. Landed sneaky around to Korea. Need the Navy to come help, but they were taking Battleship hits. Ended up losing this Battle.

Russia --- Complete drain-o. Watched as the Reds got worn to shreads. Don't think I ever killed a unit. Russia was finished January 1944. Made dumb move at Leningrad to get myself cutoff, so stupid. Stalingrad, Moscow, Rostov had forts, but they just got ground to powder. Same with Urals. German Army experience was just too much. Harry just ran a football scrum front line. Corps on the outside, experienced Armies inside, with Artillery. Tanks would finish off the position. If the Western Allies had better plan, The Reds could have gotten saved. Didn't happen. USA/Brits air powers were unorganized.

Allies did nothing but lose every battle by a little bit, and it adds up.

A very enjoyable competitive game played by Elvis. He plays a style that always keeps you guessing what his next move is. I was constantly on the defensive against his various attacks and landings whilst continuing the Russian campaign.
The game could of gone on but Russia was toast and me going away on Tuesday probably made the decision. A great opponent to play with one or two turns a day with some excellent tactics played by Elvis.

[LOSS] ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) vs Ilo4Tu (Allies) --- Germany spent all on Tech and used conservative approach. Allies went All-In with French, Brits, Egyptian-Brits, Aussie-Brits, India-Brits. Germans took exchange damage. The Diplo was disaster, as Burma joined Allies in 1939. Next, Diplo on Finland was down to 5%, would be next. Not even a way to block. Americans will also abandon Pacific and land all-out.

New ELO game begins:

Aquavita (Axis) vs petedalby (Allies)
Game ends in May 1943 with Axis resignation.

Great turn rate from Aquavita but too few Allied casualties meant both China & Russia became unstoppable.

Thanks for the game.

[LOSS] ElvisJJonesRambo (Allies) vs JamesBrown (Axis) --- Crazy fun game. Battles in new ways. Came out on the short end.

1) Germany, absolutely crushed Russia. Reds surrender late 1943.
2) Yanks, take over Singapore, Burma (little while), Iwo Jima, Taiwan, Marshall, Truk, etc. All of mainland Japan, yet Japs wont' quit.
3) German finishes off China
4) massive battles in India
5) etc.

Allies surrender, Germany way too strong and same MMPs

ThunderLizard11(Axis)[Win] v. wirkey (Allies) [LOSS] - Allies resign in Feb '43. Axis has taken over the Urals and Eastern Russia and preparing to advance on Moscow. Russia down to a few defensive units. Germans also have recaptured Persia and advancing toward Persian Gulf. Allies knocked out E. Africa and N. Africa and have units massed across N. Africa, probably planning an invasion of Italy

Decent progress by Allies in Pacific as outer islands captured and SE Asia being taken. DEI still in Japanese hands though and China is a stalemate with Chinese losing a lot of mpp on offensive. Great game by wirkey who is a strong player.

ELO game Result
Taffjones(Axis) get minor victory over LordNytram (Allies)

Game went to wire on time with Axis holding all their victory objectives bar Chunking and Canberra. of the Allied victory objectives they held only Chunking and Washington DC at the end. Very mush avoided Axis total victory by the skin of my teeth. Good fun game, learnt a lot.

ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) vs Ilo4Tu (Allies)

Germans surrender.
Germany & Japan spent too many MMPs on Diplo.
France campaign cost extra MMPs too, United Kingdom when kamikazed.

The real problem, Germans didn't even have Level 2, Infantry or Tanks on Barby.
Then, Germans got rain in September 1941 and October 1941
Then, Russians got clear weather.

Got bad weather again in March 1942, would be forced to retreat, but Russia always gets clear in April 1942 for easy counter.

Pacific Theater doesn't matter
Fact, British were really drained from France doesn't matter.

All that matters, Russia.

stormserg (Allies) defeat Old_Shane (Axis)
Allies win with Axis giving up Jan 1945. France over run. Poland threatened. Progress stopped in India. China near dead - but not dead. Good game!
