Hi all,
Yep...
Leo "Apollo11"
P.S.
BTW, one tidbit... earlier this evening I was watching "Sky News HD" and they were reporting from Tripoli. They saw some AAA firing randomly into the sky (tracers over night sky) and concluded that Libya still has strong Air Defense system in place... oh my... who pays those reporters / commentators.... [8|]
Civilians.
They have a different opinion of strong defences and heavy combat. I daresay that those of you out there with infantry training have a different opinion to mine of those things as well.
Well, if somebody is pointed a twin-barrel 23mm anti-aircraft gun at me, then I'd call that a pretty strong opponent...[:D]
If it was pointed at
me, then yes I'd agree. If it's randomly firing into the night sky to try and shoot down an unseen attacker then not so much. Even less so when I'm a long way away from it [:'(]

Hence my comment, brought on by your comment regarding those of us with infantry training.
Either way, bedtime...[>:][>:][>:][>:]

Hmm. Was watching some of the Senate stuff and was wondering. Back in my day a couple rows of ribbons would do the deed. Couple rows were enough to see who, where, what, when, why. Couple more rows was enough to get somebody some serious attention. So .. like four was seriously enuf, with that small row on the tippy top to show who was a honest to gosh hero.
So I'm watching the hearings and here's this general, or something, and he's got at least ELEVEN rows of doo doo on his sunken little chest. One frikkin wonders. Now I can understand 3 years in Afganistan without a venerial disease (that's a 6 month time/deployment award) and perhaps a six months thing without telling a Foggy Bottom weasel what ya really think, but what the heck are the last two or three bottom rows for?.
Hey, can the rest of us get in on that? I mean, we bled, and you didn't, so maybe we could get some left side chickenshit, like you guys?

Morning tithe Guys... Just a heads-up on my condition.
I am still in Dunedin hospital and have been getting-over an exploitive operation of my abdomen. The op and other tests have found what is called an endocrine tumour under my stomach, and are now having a C T directed biopics on Tuesday to definitely confirm this.
But the problem is that this growth in an area containing lots of blood vessels, so is therefore inoperative (pity). There are a lot of other treatments that could be used on this condition, so I am optimistic. But I can tell you that having been in hospital for over a month now, that the novelty is wearing off.
Hope you are all well, and remember make the most of it. [:D]
Soory to hear about all of that. You are in my prayers man.

Libyan cease fire called. This time they really, really mean it. Honestly, no crossed fingers or take-backs.
They would never lie to us.
