I think that it is simply a case that sumfink has stuffed up.........it's not like I would do sumfink to anger the forum marshalls now is it?[8|] Though I am miffed that I have not had any emails answered yet.[&:] It's kinda like going to work and finding that your pass no longer works and your desk has been cleared.

This is peculiar (and distressing) - i wonder if the new avatar had sumfink to do with it...

Money pit update:

Plumbers say that the line that was put in is not up to code (and i can well believe that, seeing some of the other %&**& stuff that the builder/previous owner did). They claim that the main water line needs to be replaced - at $$.$$/ft - with a run of about 200-300 feet (i'd guesstimate).

Well, it'd be medieval if we had a well. There is the dried up creek which we inadvertantly tried to fill up last night (as the spewing water pipe runoff was into the creek).

The beta product I am managing is three weeks away from being shipped, with about two weeks of work left to do, but the entire team just got pulled to work on another crisis. [8|]

At this point I'm going to be heading to a conference and present a really pretty presentation on a product that doesn't really exist yet. [:@]

i had a friend do SOMETHING like that... he has a PhD in Physics and a PhD in Classics... and couldn't find a decent job he liked, so he retrained himself in programming. Took longer than a week, though...

well, I'm off to go make something out of this unholy mess.

Faber, I might need to contract a couple of your agents for some hits. Have any spare fridge's laying around?
