All my plans went as planned until I came across the 5th cav.mot. This unit was able to be airsupplied within German cap range but no interception took place. I did not have the bomber force to reduce such a powerful army so more force was dirverted from other areas.

My plans changed so I could minimise movement to maximise firepower. The Luftwaffle was assigned to ground support and suffered bad losses.

We encircled 1 tank army and 1 INF corps. Too our surprise we captured Riga. Major forces were dirvirted from the Riga offensive to the assult the 5th cav.mot army

This is the time for Germany to shine good weather,clear ground, tigers, fullstrength Pz divisions and a powerful Luftwaffle.

All attacks in the north retreated the Soviets but the price in manpower and equipment was very high. A attack was launched in the centre in a attempt to encircle 2 Soviet INF corps but we got bogged down and didnt advance at all. Strong VVS fighters have caused us great problems in the sky resulting in very high bomber losses.

In the north there is a very large number of tank armies that will cause us great concern. These tank armies backed with the full force of the VVS could bring Germany to her knees.

The Pz divisions have been released and launched a full assult...

AGN and AGC have launched a massive attack encircling Daugavpils. A total of 6 Soviet INF corps and 1 Tank army have been cut off and destroyed. About 4 INF corps remain trapped.

All did not go well.... A attack to secure the northern flank failed to attack together causing 500 panzer losses. Unescorted Luftwaffle bombers supporting these attacks suffered heavy losses against VVS fighters.

Enraged Zhukov ordered all tank armies in the north to counterattack. One panzer korps was badly damaged, another full of tigers surrendered. We are thinking about using the tigers captured for our best tank army. German losses are well over 1000 panzers but detailed reports were lost.

Our failer last week to secure our norther flank left 1 Pz korps open to be encircled and destroyed. This result was sadly expected after viewing the combat resolution. Germanys strongest Pz korps has been destroyed with another Pz korps having little value on the front.

The fighting in the north still rages, this week we retreated 3 tank armies and cut off 2 tank armies. 1 tank army could not withstand the assult and shattered. Bad German co-ordination is the reason the 2nd tank army held strong and did not surrender. This has left a tank army in a bad spot in the German rear and has left a Pz korps in a vaulnerable position.

North of Minsk above the river line we intercepted 2 Soviet armies that escaped our encirclement last week. We managed to retreat 1 of the INF divisions and surrender the other. We were surprised how much resistance these 2 armies gave us, both attacks only managed to get 3:1 odds

The red army is close to total defeat. We regrouped our troops and await the next hammer like strike of the tigers. Red air force is gone, half our tanks are destroyed in the first 4 weeks of the summer.

The germans surrendered yet another tank army last week. We confronted the best of the werhmacht with our best in the north. We lost, so retreat was ordered. We found weak air defence in the centre, and we happily killed some german aircraft.

We have moved close the Soviet line of defence. All troops need to rest and reform after the bloody fighting so far.

Our lack of production is now starting to show...

We have been losing about 5-10% of our stugs per week
Our fighter reserve is but gone
Our Bomber formations have lost 10-20% of there strength. These losses are the hardest to replace
Our production of tigers are only just covering our losses on the front. This does not include encircled units.

Armor is the key in the east and these are my forces...

The red army still has 13500+ kv's on the map, and 2000 in pool. We dont have many other types only some unchangeable crap. We produce 370+ kv's every week. But we need to destroy the Luftwaffe to have a chance.

Some screenshots (ss) would be most welcome. I remember you could see all the movements you had plan before executing them. Posting the before movement and after would make it much more interesting. Just a suggestion.

We advanced to the Soviet lines. Air recon has shown a very strong Soviet defence before us. Very powerful tank armies are behind there lines. Our tired and wore down forces seem to be up against new and fresh formations. The next few battle could decide the was in the east

We forced another panzer korps to surrender in the north. It was in a forward position only covered by an infantry korps in Pskov. The infatry was easily overrun, but the panzers put up a hell of a fight with relatively few armored vehicles, mostly stugs. They must have been ss troops. We prepared the best we could against the german revenge. Strangely rain fell at the end of the week.

A great trap awaited the Soviet attackers but it seems the hunter has become the hunted

To our surprise the Luftwaffe ignored our 6000 fighter bombers stationed in the north. They attacked 2 axis airfields. We lost most of the dogfights but we won the air battle with numbers. One of the airfields were full of tasty terror machines (bombers). Our troops pulled back from the exposed positions.

A large Blitz has been launched capturing V.Luki and destroying 5 Soviet Armies. Pskov has also been captured without a fight.

We counterattacked with everything we had. In the battle of V. Luki the war will be deceided. We cut of the panzers supply by V. Luki, and overrun a hq full of german aircraft near Pskov. In Pskov an unseen panzer korps stopped the backup tank armies of the airfield killer with a reinforcement coming in just in time. That tank army is dead for sure. We massed 10.000 fighter bombers and will try to take the sky next week above V. Luki, to send 6 more tank armies with air cover against the german panzers there.

Germany has suffered a great defeat, its like a Stalingrad and a Kursk defeat all in one.

Hilter has order that no news about the eastern front is to be seen.

The Luftwaffe did not try to clear the sky from our fighters. The werhmacht and the Luftwaffe pulled back, out of our sight. The 4 cut of panzer korpses were bombed with everything, then attacked by 6 tank armies. All 4 surrendered. We sent all our troops forward on all fronts.

Our mobile troops have been dispersed to stiffen up our defences.
AGN has retreated behind the river line and has set up a mobile defence infront of this line to smash any Soviet armies that advance too fast
Most of Germany's Pz divisions have been sent to France and Italy for rebuilding. Only 2 Pz divisions are currently in the east with a large number of Motor divisions.
2 fullstrength Pz divisions are planned to be shifted to the east every month.
The motor divisions are being stripped of there tigers to refit fullstrength Pz divisions in the west so they can be deployed quicker to the east
The emergence tank and aircraft production program has been started

It is now time for the INF divisions to shine. This does not mean that our armored abality does not exist. Our armor can still pack a might punch and will defend very well where committed. We now attempt to creat a large armored force to keep out lines stable and to launch a large scale counter in the future
