Also, I searched high and low on the web, even through my books including "Curtiss Aircraft - 1907-1947" and "American Attack Aircraft Since 1926" and I cannot locate a line drawing for the Curtiss A-8 Shrike anywhere. Can anyone assist?

I was finally able to track down a decent line drawing for the Curtiss A-8 Shrike and what follows is simply sublime (imho), markings for the 37th Attack Squadron:
