Italy gets the battleship Impero placed to the Construction pool. They also get a pilot and a motorised infantry reinforcement.

The Japanese get no reinforcements although Zuikaku is placed in the construction pool.

This is good! [:)] The British get 3 pilots - two from Poland plus a reinforcement.
I assign these to a Hurricane and two Hampden bombers. I also get HMS Valiant which has completed her modernisation program (she's still not as good looking as her beautiful sister though [:)]).

The French get a sole militia in Marseille [:(]
The US get 3 cruisers and a TRS - all of which go into San Diego.
The Soviets get nothing.

A Lending Resources screen appears for most of the powers. All are Mandatory so I do nothing with these.
We then move onto the initiative roll. The Allies win it and so get the first impulse. The German does not contest it.
The weather is fine everywhere (except the Arctic).
And that ends tonight's fun!

Just a reminder to myself, I need to make sure the various build points were saved as requested.
I checked that the carrier Bearn was removed (and I received a US transport in its place). That all worked without problem.

Tough [;)] As said, I am trying to play this with the leaders real life motivations in mind. That is why, although its a good tactic, I have not attacked Denmark with Germany. As far as this AH is concerned there is only one thing I want - LEBENSRAUM!!

Charlie Brown quotation. Everyone is comparing what they got at each house. He gets a rock at every house instead of candy. It was a way to show I am following this, as well as the comment that USSR got nothing hit me as funny.

Okay. I used to like the Charlie Brown cartoons - didn't pick up on that quote though sorry.

Oh plop....
Yes, it looks like I did forget to re-organise the CW last turn. I wondered why I could not move my transports....and now I know why [8|]
Ho hum.. meanwhile, here is a nice feature. The two Polish naval units that escaped to the UK last turn have now changed colour. They keep their Polish magentary colour, but have a Blue strip across the top to denote their new owners. Nice [8D]

For the French turn I move the Infantry from Syria (whose move I mucked up previously) into the Western Med - he can land next impulse.
On the Western Front I try and build a continuous line with my French troops with my 3 land moves.
Otherwise its a pretty quiet turn for the Allies as they await the invasion of the Nazi hordes.

Back to the Axis now and the fine weather roll gives the Germans an ideal opportunity to put Fuhrer Directive No.6 into practice. Only problem is much of the Luftwaffe is still in transit....
Holland will be the first to feel the force... ooh ooh ooh oh, can you feel the force...ahem...sorry about that (I came over all Earth Wind and Fire for a moment)

As a result of the German aggression toward their Belgian and Dutch neighbours there is a US Entry roll for each:
10 for Holland
1 for Belgium
That puts another Entry Marker in the box
Ge/It Entry Level = 13
Japan Entry Level = 6

I align both Holland and Belgium to the Commonwealth and now place the units. I cannot recall weather its best to put the Dutch naval units in the NEI or what, so I place them all in Holland itself.

I feel pretty confident I do not need to Ground Strike but by using one of my Heinkel He-111 at extreme (double) range, I at least get the unit over to the Western Front.
I have a Stuka that will be used on Brussels. The attack on the Dutch failed to hit home, but the Belgian 1st Infantry Corps was disorganised by the lethal dive-bombers.

Meanwhile the Japanese are trying an opportunistic ground strike against the 8th RTE - unsurprisingly the attack is a waste...
