I've tried downloading from Doccup's drop-box several times to take a look, but the DL always fails on me. Here's the link if you wish to try.

The download worked fine for me, I am using Google Chrome.
From what I can see the only thing v2 is the IJNstockmapcoloriconYDv2 file.

Never mind. Ended up determining that the only Chemkid v.2 extended map is in the darker "rainy day" version. Too hard on my eyes.

I haven't looked at what is there, but if it says "extended" it won't work with stock scenarios....GP

To everyone who has posted with various helpful instructions, links and mods for this game over the last few years, I'd like to say a very big "Thank You" to you all. [:)]

After buying the game and installing it, I've figured out the Beta and got that up and running, then the map and icon mod from the original ChemKid files which someone has kindly re-posted.. I know the map visuals are a personal thing but I think the more muted colours and lack of hexes on the 'Cloudy Day' (stock) map I'm now using are ideal for me.

I know that some of you more computer savvy people would have had it sorted out in a few minutes and it's taken me nearly two days of trial and error and many cuss words but I got there in the end and I'm happy as a pig in poop with how it looks and runs. I may fiddle around with the screen size a tad to try and enlarge it but things are plenty big and clear enough to see as it stands.

Now for the fun part after hours of YouTube tutorials... More hours of planning and orders to get the first turn underway. [:D]

I use GME and been swapping various mods, but this is one awesome map and I really like the darker panels.
