I never noticed that thing you pointed out with the airplanes. Odd. Anyway, that could have gone worse. How many guys are in the pocket?

I think all infantry. They are fodder for grand plan.
I attack here to keep Jerry from river line. I worry about at axis attack toward the south east.

This was a second attack on German tanks.
80 ART lost for the Germans in this loss. They retreated from clear hex into a mud hex.
Would that result in extra retreat damage? mud v clear retreat?

This was a second held result. My first Infantry corp is built to defend this hex.
Actually, most of my first inf corp formed were placed here West of the river.
