I launch a local tank offensive to cut the RR just south of Yaraslov.
This will not end well as battle field reversal results in tank and cav corp cut off!

I prob much further west. I had chance to send tank corp into big V but did not. It would have scattered everything.
I more full mp tank corp would have done the job.
Oh and of course save my trapped units.

Planning objectives:
Get the middle group out above the Volchaya river. and hold the South east. And not lose my far West troops.
No resting on this map. End positions. I will lose another tank corp.

I bet neither of your armies are near 90%+ ToE lol.
I imagine your losing more men per turn than your replacing, him having moscow and most of the cities in the north has to have hurt your manpower generation per week.

Mini disaster
TDV uses all he has to open up to major breakthrough turning the Stalino and Tula campaigns into one major mega campaign
I loose a lot of west territory due to the cut off. Causing minor issues but again very annoying as now TDV can send troops in thru the newly won area.

The air battle up north the last few turns was uneventful as my fighter planes showed no interest in flying.
This was after battle to reopen right pocket.
There are few places to have airbase up here. I sometimes wonder if the hexes may be coded wrong.
Planes eventually flew in later turns from this hex.

My attacks to break the big pocket were feeble!
19 panzer div at 114 MP to supply.

I sacrifice a guards tank corp to enable the cut off of all the armor sent in by tdv for his breakout.
The split unit will send one reg just north and one just south and all is cut off.
this was mid battle on the map.

final positions. it is now a struggle of me cut off then him cut off.
All cut off troops, both sides, are getting weaker fast.
I keep bringing in train reinforcements from other fronts.

Stalino
I put in a strong force just north of the Donuts hoping the buffer holds.
Beneath the Italian mech brigade is the German 5th panzer division. It is so weak that I think it would rout if left alone next to my troops.
I try not to rout this group.
My tanks though are split up and in deep trouble so far west.
I also keep trying to escape the middle pocket moving units north.

I do my best to keep the German GD div trapped north of Tula, I had feared an attack eastward just south of the Ocra.
He moved more Southeast but was unable to take Tula( never attacked). I think it is now a thorn in his side.
With this map I believe all his armor and mech, except for what's way up north, are now CUT OFF!
It's wear and tear time.
I will have OOB update turn 64.

This reminds me of when two dogs meet on the street. They keep trying to get behind one another. Another thought that comes up is "War in Vietnam". I'm actually enjoying this AAR pretty "intense" fighting with no hold bars and who can cut off the other the most.

The CVs for both sides are so low and scattered out. Like both sides good stacks/units seem to be like 7 CV or so with most being 1-3 lol.
