Got an anniversary coupon email (16 years). But when following the link and logging in I get this: "No anniversary coupons were granted to this user." Oh well.

The registration date is take in this priority:
1. The date you registered for the Matrix members area.
2. If you never registered for the Matrix members area, the date you registered for the Matrix forum.
3. If you never did either of the above then the date you registered for the Slitherine site, forum or first played a PBEM++ game.

How could you check the date that you have registered for the Matrix members area?
I through my anniversary coupons was today but I may be wrong.

Thanks

See above, it depends on your registration date. And the coupon is valid for only one month.

So being registered since 2004 isn't long enough?

Yup long enough, just depends on what month you registered. If it already past have them check your account. You can check your account yourself to see what month.

I saw nothing saying you had to register in a certain month. So much for supporting loyal customers.

What Budd is trying to explain, is that you'll receive your anniversary coupon in the same month (and day) you have registered your Matrix Members account.

No one is being excluded. The emails are sent automatically from the SSL account database.

I know this is the millionth time this has been asked but can Matrix please provide release dates and prices earlier than the day before release? Even a couple of weeks would be immeasurably better. I mean seriously Matrix help your customers out here.

Hi Vegas

release dates are normally announced well ahead of release. E.g. Blitzkreig is coming on the 10th November, Strategic Command on the 17th. Sometimes there are smaller expansions that we are not sure of exact timing until very near the time and they can be announced late but all significant releases give as much notice as we can!

Prices are not announced, and we've explained this before but whatever price we set there are always people moaning about the price. We see no value in that discussion ahead of release when people can't see what they get for their money. There is an argument to say that the more mainstream titles with mainstream prices should announce ahead of release but games like WitE, Command, Scourge of War etc that have a very specialist audience get nothing but bad PR if they announce their prices early as you have people who don't understand what they are slamming the game, without anyone who has the game to explain why it is worth the price. We've never had a good experience by announcing the price in advance so we don't do it. I can see how it might be frustrating for you but it doesn't help us to do it earlier, it has only ever hurt us up to now.

My issue with price is why charge full release price for titles 10+ years old with outdated graphics that do not even run on Windows 10?Why the coupons only good for 30 days? How is the discount amount determined?

Price & coupons functionality has been discussed many times so I'm not going in to it again here :) The calculation of the % is being continually adjusted so we are not explaining it to avoid confusion.

Thank you for your reply Iain - it is just frustrating that I had my coupon for 30 days and was checking regularly to see if Mandate of Heaven would release because I really wanted to pick that up. On day 28 I concluded it wasn't coming out soon so I bought something else. On day 29 you announced Mandate was coming out the next day.

I'm having a problem with merged accounts and anniversary coupons,

I have 2 accounts of which are linked under the unified login system, a matrix store one that dates back to my first purchase that I registered on 12 JUN 2008 as well as the unified Slitherine one which dates to when I created it 11-14-2014

Today I got a email telling me I have 2 years coupons so it must be using the slitherine date instead of the older matrix dates that I understand it should use and when I logged on to the site to check and collect it's telling me "No anniversary coupons were granted to this user." ?
