The pic shows a British sub that's been hunting your Norwegian convoys and indicates the place where the attack took place the previous turn. If it hadn't move it would be there, but problem is they don't stay still to be hunted!!!
Nonetheless it has to be somewhere around, so keep searching it with zig zag movements.

Before the DAK event I had purchased Rommel HQ in preparation for the invasion of Russia.
Now I might have two Rommels HQs. [&:]
I'm not sure how the game will handle this situation, I'll keep you posted.
I would suggest removing Rommel from the HQ poll until the player has decided whether he sends the DAK to Libya or not, if yes then Rommel is not available if not then he becomes available.

Don't worry. The engine picks the next HQ in the list. I did the same as you and Kleist appeared to lead the DAK!

In my case Keserling appeared, Rommel was in production when he was given the post for the DAK.

I must say this game is quite a pleasant surprise! Would like to giv my first impression but that seems so long ago. Anyways after many hours of play have only encountered a crash once; the Error log as follows

[07/30/2016 2:12:49; 6.2.9200; 1920x1080x32(1); v1.00.08 Beta] FAILED(draw_unit_layer_to_buffer):

Was simply going to move a unit. Tried to screenshot but lost it too quickly.

Take a look where the Russian destroyer is, it looks more like a land hex even though there's a river. The hex is classified as clear, I believe that's for coastal hexes.
Also my Army Corps is able to attack the DD, is this WAD?

It is technically correct, as the naval unit is occupying a land-sea hex. These are hexes that have the attributes of both, and can be moved into or through by both land and naval units.

However, the hex has since been changed so when you start a new game after upgrading to the latest it won't be the same.

Then again, i never read the manual. (Sorry Bill [&o] )
It would ruin my ability to judge if something is intuïtive or not.
Which it isn't in this case. How to improve this so people understand without reading the manual?
That would make it more accessible to novice players.

Not sure if it is a bug:

if you use the button to hide the units / don't show the units on the map, and move to a different map zoom level, all units are right back on the map.
There is no way to see a large map where only the current frontlines / control zones are displayed.

Everybody loves to take a look on the frontlines. Please add this view for the highest zoom level too.

Hubert and Bill,

Just sent Hubert the error files from a game crash to desktop. Moving an aircraft carrier to the french coast from england when wham! First kind of problem like that I've had since the hotfix a while back.

I'll try the move again and see what happens.

I moved an italian submarine to attack an english CV witch have been spotted. After the attack, I move it back and an error message happened telling "not authorized move" or "not regular move" ang thd game crashed, return to the desktop. I can't do it again, the CV was no longer spotted.

Playing as the Allies vs. Axis computer. I noticed earlier in the game that the Axis had built a 'Casino Line'. I did not invade Italy, rather I went thru the Balkans. Italy did eventually surrender anyway [which is good, I think]. So I landed a few units in Italy and then noticed that the Casino Line was gone. I guess when ownership of the hexes changed sides that these forts were lost ? If so, it doesn't seem like it should happen like that. I have not messed with any scripts that have anything to do with that, I hope.

Note: Those hexes are currently Axis owned because the computer moved those two units there after Italy surrendered.

Couple of things I've found...

- When selecting to load a saved game, the highlighting does not change when clicking through list of available saved games to load. The original remains highlighted even when you click on another (loads correct...just highlights the wrong one).

- When purchasing units, the updated cost is not reflected in the upper left corner of the main display until you close the purchase window. So whilst purchasing, you can't tell how many points you have remaining.

- Losses report scrolls information off the bottom of the windowed area and out of the report.

Not sure if the above already noted.

This one has been reported quite a lot of times, and everytime the same still true answer was given:

this menu is just a mere placeholder for the new report.

I guess it has already been reported, but better save than sorry:

in the highest zoom level (whole of Europe) no key shortcut is working, so you can't blend out unit, can look where partisans might spawn etc etc.
