The Allies are making a big play for the Marshalls and have pushed the Japanese out of Burma.

The Eastern Front has collapsed.

The Allies maintain their serious 'thing' for the Marshalls. Holding so far....

A British Army is destroyed - Hussah!!

But in the desert the Italians around Tripoli are almost surrounded and the Americans are closing in from the north to split the Axis forces in two.

My hopes of lasting to the summer in the east are looking nothing but fanciful.

The Soviets are on the outskirts of Helsinki, Konigsberg, Budapest and Bucharest. There is nothing to stop the steamroller. The Soviets have also rather unsportingly declared war on poor little Japan. Harsh.

But at least there was a little fun to be had in France where an American and British unit each were destroyed.

Well I was hoping to last until the summer of '44 and I've just about done that so I'm relatively pleased with that.

The Western Front finally collapses too.

Tripoli falls and there are only four Axis units in Tunisia.

The Allies are just two hexes from Paris

Breslau, Bratislava and Helsinki are all now under Allied control.

The Japanese desperately try and extract what they can from China and fall back toward Korea with whatever units have not been surrounded.

The small pocket in China is liquidated except an HQ I could not evacuate.

I try and fall back on Korea with as many units as I can muster.

I try the same in China/FIC. A few units have no escape route.... My Burma invasion force, that has fallen back on Saigon, is assaulted on three sides and will be liquidated soon.

But I make a play for keeping the PI
