Air Losses Turn 21

lost a fair amount of planes this turn, i am rather unhappy about that.

The Red Air Force though took huge losses so I guess it all evens out.

OB Turn 21

Well they have hit the 3 million mark its been a while since the Red Army has that figure and its only going to climb.

Would have like to put a bigger dent in the AFV force but they kept running away.

AG North Turn 22

The weather lessons and I launch a attack against the defenders at Kobona, also pushing Russian troops back across The Voilkhov River an threatening the town itself.

The biggest surprise was a attack towards the defenders along The Neva River which was a success leading 18th Armee troops crossing it.

I now have punched through the Leningrad inner defences, I didn't expect this to happen with the weather and attacking across a river to be a success.

Not much movement on the 16th Armee Front this week.

AG Centre Turn 22

OK well cleared out the last of the trapped troops, launched few probing attacks to push them back from lines.

The continued with the reorganising of the line, North East of Moscow redeployed 40th Mot Korps to a better position, each flanks of Korps is covered by 16th and 9th Armee's.

Down South trying to get both 2nd Pz and 4th Armee's Inf DIV's into a forward defensive stance and pull the Pz's back out of contact with the enemy if I can.

AG South Turn 22

Finally encircled Stalino and launched attacks to push back any Russian units close to the city, 17th Armee keeps edging closer to Rostov.

In The Crimea its all quiet with there garrison surrounded, at Kerch I cross the straits and move quickly to take up holing positions till more troops arrive, The Red Army withdrew without giving a real fight.

Supply and Weather Turn 22

Seems I did not take a screen shot, well if memory serves it was not getting any better.

On the weather front it eased across Russia giving me a chance to take late objectives and consolidate my lines somewhat.

Losses Turn 22

Well there is a uplift in the numbers of enemy casualties, but we lost a lot AFV's in the process.

One thing I don't really talked about is Artillery losses the Red Army losing over 63000 guns at this time.

Both sides took big Losses here but with Russia's production output they will recover much better than I will.

Need to reduce my air losses and quickly.

OK well for the first time in a long time the enemy has more troops on the ground than The Axis does.

There factories are starting to produce again.

AG North Turn 23

Things still looking good in the North all Russian forces have been pushed back behind the Volkhov river and two of the three lake ports taken.

What is even better news is that more units have attacked and pushed the Leningrad back and crossed the Neva river, there defences seem to be collapsing from sustained attack.

I may yet take the city.

A G Centre Turn 23

I am continuing to dig across the central front but a lot of units are bad shape, its a long front line to hold with just regiments.

I have launched a number of spoiling attacks against wondering Red units so as to keep them from being contact as my troops start to fortify, though some places i just cant make the enemy move.

The Moscow sector is where it is most thinly guarded and where they hit me the hardest, its going to be tough.

AG South Turn 23

A front wide attack is launched and many Russian units are pushed back, Stalino falls as does the surrounding cities.

South of Stalino the port city of Taganrog is also taken, time to dig in everywhere and try to hold the territory under my control.

In The Taman Peninsula 11th Armee pushes to forward to create another defensive zone for the coming winter.

The south is particularly hard to hold a lot open terrain to cover, we shall what happens.

My ground resupply is woefully bad and my Armies will suffer badly once the blizzards hit.

The Luftwaffe is a little better off at this time.

Well despite all the bad weather and bad supply I did some good damage to the enemy.

Almost 4.5 million losses in total for the enemy so far.

For myself just crossed the half million mark.

Both sides are about even here which means it was bad for me, my losses seem to be increasing and I cancelled all my air directives, strange.

Need to find ways to reduce my losses

Ob Turn 23

Neck and neck here number wise, of course it will change soon enough.

Decided to leave all Pz Armee's in there Assault status its going to hurt my defence values but its a risk I have to take since I will officially only have 3 slots in 1942.

It could a telling factor through the winter months.
