I was going to post something to show the situation north of Leningrad but it seems like Willie has already done that.

Here's the T32 view of the Moscow area right now. Willie seems determined to take the city despite all the losses it's costing him. I've brought about 2/3 of all the arty I own to this fight and it seems to be supporting my troops fairly well. I'm also posting about 1/3 of my aircraft to this area to provide what CS they can supply. The weather is about 5/10 cloudy with lots of T-storms and heavy rain falling all over the map. Mud is accumulating making movement difficult.

Here's a view of the Sevastopol area right now. Willie is pushing my defenders backward and will own the port within about 10 turns or so I'm guessing. I have a lot of people there but none of them are ready for Prime Time.

It's now T33 round 1 and this is a view of the Murmansk area right now. Willie has bottled me up really good and there's not much I can do about it. I've been pounding his units with my arty but none of my LCU's has fired at anybody yet, saving their supply and avoiding losses.

Here's the front lines around Moscow right now. You can see how Willie is in the process of reducing the pockets he managed to form and I'm going to lose a boat-load of units. I've lost count how many divisions of infantry, squadrons of tanks, and HQ units, not counting the cooks and bottle-washers. North and south of Moscow I've been dispatching spare units to break all the bridges they can to stall the Axis units in their advance. Setting up bottlenecks in the terrain, roadblocks at the intersections, etc. hasn't seemed to help all that much. Willie just surrounds my defenders and kills them all in just a couple of turns. He's constantly amazing me.

I haven't heard from Willie for quite a while now and I'm concerned. I hope he's okie dokie. Which reminds me
of a joke:

Master Gunnery Sgt. Clem Conners had his company gather around him as he was giving them an early morning
peep talk. He gave them the latest scuttlebutt and then grinned real wide and said: "Something funny thing happened yesterday morning. My four year old came to the breakfast table and had his hair all combed and ship shape with his shirt and clean pants. His mom approached the table and set a plate in front of him. She asked him: "Are you hungry Sparky?" and the young man answered "Fuck'n A mom." and I thought that was proof that my wife cusses. I can't imagine where else he could have picked up that kind of language." His company had a good laugh and for about a week they would say "Fuck'n A mom" when they saluted an officer but only a handful of officers asked about it.
