Turn 5. May/June 1940. War Directives.

At-Start Turn Summary.
(1) I decided this turn to make better use of my WAR Directive functionality.
(2) Last game (GW Counterfactual Take 3) I got too carried away with this functionality, which became too much of an unfun burden.
(3) I dropped using late last game and haven't used it this game until last turn.
(4) I've decided to start using it in a less "verbose" manner as I did last game to organize and keep track of key actions/items for each major power.
(5) WAR directives are given 1 of 3 priorities (low, medium or high) and have 1 to 5 components.
(6) Because a WAR directive might currently have a low priority doesn't mean it's not important, it may mean that it's on a to-do list so I don't forget and may before high priority later (e.g., USSR claim the Baltic States).
(7) At the start of last turn I developed a set of strategic bullet points in powerpoint for each MP to help me guide their actions through the turn.
(8) At the end of last turn I then converted those bullet points to WAR directives, evaluated them and then entered both into EXCEL.
(9) This turn I'm by passing powerpoint and writing them as WAR directives at the start of the turn.
(10) I will still use powerpoint for impulse pre-briefs for each major power as I did last turn.
(11) I wrote a total of 38 new WAR directives for the 9 major powers currently active; but not necessarily at war (i.e., USA).
Addendum
(12) Added 2 more WAR directives, for a total of 40, and modified 2 others.

USSR.
(1) Changed priority of USSR War Directive 8 (Front Yeremenko) from high to low because Yeremenko won't deploy until next turn.
(2) Also, just noticed that I misspelled Yeremenko's name, which has been corrected in the spreadsheet.

Turn 5. May/June 1940. War Directives.

CW.
(5) Added CW War Directive 19 (Eliminate IND Partisan) as a reminder not to forget about the partisan.
(6) Current priority is set to low as it's going to be a while (i.e., few turns at best) before resources can be allocated to the elimination of the partisan.

USA.
(1) I've laid out US pre-war Pacific garrisons, which comes to a total of 45 BPs excluding naval units.
(2) However; 28 BPs were built at-start, which means the US is required to build another 17 BPs of ground units to satisfy these Pacific garrison requirements.
(3) Also as a reminder, because a given WAR directive (e.g., Pass War Appropriations) currently has a low priority does NOT mean it's not important.
(4) All that it means is the time is not currently right to (attempt to) execute it.
