Turn 33
Well...Zhukov died. Which is quite dramatic. I fired him from Western Front for roleplay purposes really and gave him a shitty assignment in the Southern Front and now he's dead. It's my fault but it still hurts...
The Germans seems to be able to push everywhere without me being able to do anything about it. All my troops are being routed. I think the issue is the Germans are not spread thin since they did not make much grounds in the summer but they are starting to take back and it's getting dangerous. I built a lot of fortifications and hopefully that will liberate some troops from the North to go defend Moscow.
I also started building fortifications for the approach on Moscow but I am limited to 50 fortifications so there's that. (Which is absurd imo.. ) but anyway, I called in ALL my reserves and so this should give a boost to the defense of Moscow.
The South is doing pretty bad... But regardless of the long road ahead of us, we shall fight. I cannot afford to retreat like I did in 41. I need to hold on and fight as much as I can.

Did Zhukov just die, or did you have him slightly executed? Be honest now.
Dramatic stuff, as you say I think the German unit density saved them. But those panzer counter attacks will have burned a lot of trucks, which will be an issue. All in all, the German logistics should be in a state and 1942 should be survivable. Then forward for the Motherland!
