Or start reading when you've lost all your planes.
You so know that I will do that
Seriously, tho.
I appreciate the links.
I'm not trying to suicide, either.
I don't have a way to prove this, but I'm a 21-year WPO/WITP player. Stellar? No. But I try.
P.S. I do - WPO AAR forum!

Some of my reports appeared to be off. This was corrected.

A stalemate at Granada. The NAT forces separated at Ignasioz managed to outrun mine and almost make it back to the city for replenishment. More NAT pushes from the west. The base at Gibraltar has a German AA charging it? I'm throwing all I can towards Malaga - NATs turned out to send 3 INF units that way, and I was too preoccupied in Granada to cover it properly.

It's tough. We are at a stalemate, if not a loss at Oviedo, and REP forces are shuttling west by cargo barges. Luckily, our sentry immobile forces have been doing better after a permission to reinforce. In fact, the Vivero enclave is up to 22 squads from 3, slowing down the NATs. All over the board my S-type static units are suddenly growing sharp teeth upon the permission to use up supply to reinforce.

A surprise NAT unit shows up in Madrid and the Toledo NAT unit manages to circle my two units. So, we're going to start falling back here. WiS really becomes the game about retaining supply at all the costs.

Near Bilbao in the North, we manage to catch something quite tasty. It did take a few turns, but voila! This did take some troop concentration and rotation back out of combat. It's too bad they escaped in the end, though.

So interesting. We're losing the air war. We are winning the naval war (sometimes).

NATs are suddenly retreating from my two cooks and a cat with morale of near zero in Malaga, but they are stacking up in Grenada using all available mobile force from Sevilla as well. This will be a problem, especially since the troops I had just beaten up north of Granada managed to make it to the city.

Looking at the preceding losses report, you're also winning the vehicles and guns war !!!

Thank you, Sir. It was just luck. I'm still losing overall.

Thank you for your patience. The situation was so tough on multiple fronts that I did take a few days to think about it. The key locations are Oviedo in the North and Granada in the South: NATs hold both, and it's a real 50/50 stalemate in both locations. After much deliberations, REPs will pursue Oviedo, redeploying available reserves from the Northeast. There are two tasty NAT Eng/Log stacks near Bilbao, but this campaign is becoming more about supply rather than chasing down units to destroy, so we're focusing on cities instead.
Viviedo is still holding in the Northwest, and so are many of my garrisons. The order to start using up supplies and allow reinforcements was crucial: the NAT offensive instantly slowed to a crawl. I wish I had done this from day 1!

NATs are pushing from the North and Northeast, but these appear to be recon forces for now. We're going to venture back to Guadalajara to secure the 10K supply depot there; west of Madrid, we're not going to chase the retreating NATs into the mountains. We will try to retake Toledo - losing that city due to not-garrisoning was a major mistake. As for the former Badajoz-Caceres force, they are on their own for now.

My troops are starting to concentrate on Zaragosa - if only to establish a retreat path for the Northern Rep units. There are some REP movements south of it, but nothing to report about just yet.

First, we fall back from Cordoba.
Then, we try to do something about Grenada. We fall back again.
NATs throw everything to Grenada.
Aha! But we go back to Cordoba.
Aha! But now they push back from Grenada. And in between, as well.
This is going to be fun. And very, very painful, soon.

My miners are still fighting it off in Vivero (62,50). I can't pull them out by air or by sea, as air transports don't pick them up and land barges won't port there. They are there until the supply is available - there isn't much left - but it's important to point out that as soon as I allowed my static unit to draw supply to reinforce, NAT advances slowed to a crawl.
Oviedo is still a mess. I'm carefully rotating the most weakened units to Gijon.
By Bilbao, we're going to pursue some of the NAT units badly beaten a bit ago, but it's a lackluster effort. Most of my units are tired.
