Mindanao finally falls! The build-up in China continues, 3 divs now ashore... Reinforcements on way to PI.

Equally as important as the announcement that Mindanao falls to the Japanese is the fact that the last Japanese forces on Midway surrendered today.

The first attempt to capture Midway has failed! I hope that it is also the only attempt, although with more reinforcements soon to arrive, I welcome the opportunity to destroy the Japanese hopes so close to my home bases.

Hangchow falls! Now my TFs can dock and unload without having to brave the surf...

the PI looks like this:

The fall of Hangchow means the seige of Shanghai. Not much to do about it ecept interdict the supply shipments. Looks like time for the US Asiatic fleet to make another appearance... after they finish repairing.

It does indeed. IJA troops cut the Shanghai railway at Soochow.

Things are moving too fast in China. Shanghai will be isolated as I expect the Japanese will take Soochow shortly.

We seem to have got inside the Chinese reaction loop. Hurrah!

Other news: still plugging away at PI. Manilla is the big kahoona of VPs (3600) for the Japanese. Gotta take it.

The defenders of Clark Field... remember, this is from an earlier Beta version... as Tankerace mentioned, you won't have this many troops to play with in the PI. But I do [;)]

Still plugging away in PI. More troops on the way. Soochow is just a speed-bump (I hope!).

Not much to report at this point. Still repairing most of my fleets. And getting my transports in order. Again, you want to see something, please let me know.

Thanks. That one was caught in a version after we had begun the PBEM game.

Yeah, we caught it early on in the small scenarios, didn't know it wsas in the big ones until alter. Don't worry its already fixed.

Could I see what the stats are on the Iron Duke? (Has she changed any since 1918?)

Oh, and do the British resell HMS Canada back to Chile in this scenario? Always loved that ship. If you have it around, could I see it too?
