Just back from my latest Tang Soo Do belt test. Test went well and I've been promoted to 3rd Gup ("Advanced Brown Belt").

Board breaking is fun. [8D]

Thanks, Jeff! Enjoyed the last one, so I'm sure we'll watch the new one. [:)]

I know there are always people who complain about movies not being faithful to books. I can easily enjoy a book for what it is and a movie "based" on a book for what it is, a movie. [:)]

For the most part I agree. Then along came Starship Troopers. [8|]

I have to say it is very weird for me to be at work the day before Christmas Eve.  For as long as I can remember, I've always had a week or more of vacation time saved up to use around the holidays.  There was zero traffic on the road this morning, and only 4 other people here.  3 of them are Indian, and my manager is leaving in about an hour.  [:D]

The only thing in common are the title and character names. And some of the characters are the opposite sex.

After reading about the earthquakes in NZ this morning, I realized we haven't heard from Des since the day he was supposed to be going home from the hospital.  I sent him an email to check in.  I sure hope we hear all good news back!
