[WIN] ElvisJJonesRambo (Allies) vs Jonny25k (Axis) --- Germans built extra Panzers for France, failed to upgrade the 1st one into French territory, it got headcracked. The Hun had rough time, took Paris late, and extra damage. Stalled out Italian weaker forces in Tunisa, Algeria and Egypt. Fun player, fast returns, good communication. Jonny25k wants rematch, switching sides, no problem. Got open spot. China was bloodbath, did some damage, but Japan was able to make gains.

Still play this one an all the other games of the SC series.
Most of the games are against previous players which asked for a rematch.
So only from time to time and not recording this for tournament purposes.

[LOSS] ElvisJJonesRambo (Allies) vs Umeu (Axis) --- Allies surrender Febuary 1940. This is a joke. Yet another game I get global warming. Not one snowflake in France or China. Not one turn of weather.
China and France already toast. Just had a game like this. No point wasting my time or my opponents. Have a win. Just played one of these. Germans/Japs haven't take a scratch off their paint. Africa will be toast with a Super-Tank. T'he experience levels already racking up. Jap Carriers with no weather, just teeing off of worthless global warming Chinese.
I don't get one turn of weather in either front? What's the odds of this

Pekkavilamoura Axis [LOSS] vs. Zarevic Allies [WIN]
Axis surrender December '45.
Fun game, good player match.
Axis did fairly well in Festung Europa and Barbarossa. Japan less so, fell far too early with morale dropping to zero. Then it was Germany against the whole world, that doesn't go well for long.

ELO started (June 8 or so) Old_Shane (Axis) vs HARRIS45 (Allies)
Aside from a botched Pacific Offensive, all fronts are progressing well in Summer 1942. Just waiting for the US hammer to fall!
Victory Old_Shane.
Allies resign July 1944. Kriegsmarine had a good start and kept the RN at bay. Bled UK of MPPs which kept the pressure off Western Europe for the duration. UK did have success in Scandinavia having captured Norway and then DofW and capture of Sweden. Couldn't quite kick Axis out of Southern Sweden though. After Barbarossa stalled in winter of 1943, 1944 saw Axis capture Moscow and was steadily eroding Soviet forces toward Perm. It would have been a long slog I think as there were extensive fortifications built on the approach to Perm. In Asia, the IJN did not fair so well. It lost initial clashes and steadily lost strength with US advances. DEI was held for only a few turns and then was a fight for it the whole game. Slow progress made to India as troops are diverted to islands as the US came on fast. China was almost beat but US bombers kept supply low and stopped the advance. Many Axis units were well experienced by then. Between that and morale differentiation the Allies were having a hard time counter attacking. I think Harris saw a slow progression to defeat ahead and wanted a rematch.

Game #214 [LOSS] ElvisJJonesRambo (Allies) vs Taifun (Axis)
Great game, plenty of thought needed. Taifun wrote up an excellent AAR.
France went well, with fierce fighting.
Egypt lost, they died in France.
California invaded by Jap, too much rain in California, needs trimmed down big time.
Russia I was awful, my worst front always, it seems.
Pacific, I always compete
British going to North Africa late sealed my loss.
Little burned out, got small game going, will return soon enough, once I get my trucks fixed and busy with stocks & casino.

HarrySmith (Axis) win vs petedalby (Allies)
Another great game and third time lucky against Pete, finally getting a win. Game finished Sep 44, Russia running out of units and on the verge of losing Moscow with perm to go. Allies controlled the ME with battles for Palestine/Iraq happening. India was taken by Japan and China was on the ropes. Japan con trolled East coast Russia . Battles in the Pacific with US retaking Midway, Wake and outer Jap islands. US navy smaller than Jap navy with higher carrier and very high BS losses. Italy was retaken by Axis with the Allies controlling Greece and Norway.

[WIN] ElvisJJonesRambo (Axis) vs Jonny25k (Allies) --- This was a flip-side rematch. Axis were able use alot of attrition to win this. MedFront went well, played it safe by building both Italian/German Maritime bombers to give the Royal Navy alot of problems. Speaking of the British, they were really aggressive. Right after Barby June 1941, Churchill sent a mid-size set of units into France. Open ports were there, in came HQ, couple Corps, AA-guns, etc. Was really annoying, had lost the Normandy ports. Had to pull some units back from Army Group North. British made a critically bad move, leaving a port open. Behind Paris, the German Paratroops were prepared for this critical move. British got trapped, there were no survivors. British kept with Commando in 1942, but didn't have enough strength to keep 2nd bridgeheads.
British spent MMPs on a 2nd Strategic. These expenses in England, didn't help the defense of Egypt, as Rommel made it to the Holy Lands, Shinar, Bagdad, and finally to Tehran.
Barby saw crazy good action. The Russians were able to convince Finland to stay outta the war. North Russian units made an offensive, when Brits premature French landing happenned. Army Group Center, was cutoff for one turn, dang near the Winter turn. Did alot of Operanding between France (vs Brits) to rail lines to Smolensk. Russians counter-offensive including battles at Kursk. This is all 1942. Germans kept the rails, and reinforced troops, were able to punch the Reds in the face, and cutoff various units. Expensive for the Reds.
Bottom line, this game was more won on attrition of MMPs. Russians were dying holding their lines. Was a matter of time, their failure to retreat, the whole front(s) would open.
In China, went with the x2 Artillery pieces. Was able to pick apart the weak spots and Chinese Armies never gain traction. China was well in hand.
Japs land at Western Hawaii. Since the war was going well in Russia, figured to kept the Yanks attention. Nothing more, nothing less. IJN had Maritime x3 Bombers across the Tarawa collection of Islands for protection. Germans sent a few U-boats thru the Suez Canal. Built up some nice experience on raiding. Added a nice punch into Indian Ocean.
Good game my Jonny25k. The slugfest in 1941-42 in France/Russia was fun. Was I recharge my batteries, will play again if he wishes either side.
