Turn 17. May/June 1942. Axis #5. Impulse Planning.
Germany – Combine.
1. Atlantic - Max effort U-boat sortie (3 flotillas in Kiel) to Faeroes Gap, abort/sink 3+ CPs & inflict greater losses than received.
2. Prototype version 1 of, “Sub Attack Calculator” tool was used by Germany, Italy & Japan to decide on whether or not to sortie to various Atlantic (& Pacific) sea areas.
3. Med – 1 Nav Air F2 support to Italians in West Med, Naval Air attempt.
4. Med – 1/1 rail. MIL to Leghorn to shore (next turn) likely marine crossing threat from Corsica.
5. Eastern Front – Germany will use all 6 LMs & 3 LCs of their combine on the Eastern Front.
6. 2 LMs & 1 LC (+28B AP) vs OOS & flipped Soviet 12th inf army (Ukraine 53.53).
7. 3 LMs & 1 of 3 LC (+23.333A AP) vs Soviet MIL army west of Odessa and to capture Culetea-Alba & NW-1 Odessa.
8. 1 LM & 1 LC(+46A) vs Vilna (Soviet MIL), Manstien -> SE1, puts arm, mech, mot div in supply & with other adjacent corps & div have well enough firepower, even in storm, to easily take Vilna (& destroy Soviet MIL).
9. Using remaining air missions to forward base applicable/available air wings on Eastern Front.

Italy – Combine.

Japan – Naval.
1. Pacific – reestablish supply & resource shipment supply lines in China & South China Sea.
2. Given available warships, I-boats & naval, fighter air Gps; optimize CP escorts & patrols in South China Sea.
3. Use 3 of 6 available TRS/Amph Gps to reorg CVL Hosho, BBs Yamashita & Hugua.
4. Use remaining 3 TRS/Amph Gps to move 2 marine corps & 1 arty to South China Sea for reinforcement of Siam/Malayan front.
5. Use 1 available CA to transport eng div & provide CP escort in South China Sea.
6. Use 2 of 2 AM to rebase Zero FTR wing & Naval Air Gp to Canton in support of South China Sea CP escorts.
