Well, if their caretakers and servants were home taking care of them during the weekend and then those people leave when they go to earn money to spend on those cats, yes they would care. Otherwise, meh . . .

Who cares if it's Monday when it looks like this:
The bands around the trees are tanglefoot, a sticky trap for the canker worm larvae that will try to climb up to eat the leaves next spring.
